A great place to snorkel, the team are really knowledgeable about the best places to see loads of fish. We also saw a lot of turtles which was INCREDIBLE. Husband did a discovery dive which he loved, the guide was really experienced and safe. Worth paying extra for the top bungalow - better view and breeze

The perfect combination of Diving and relaxing. That combined with the amazing food and super friendly people makes it the perfect place. Make sure to go diving or snorkeling while visiting, the marine life is beyond incredible! We walked along the beach while the tide was out in the afternoon and found so much marine life in the rock pools....

We were here to relax and do some nice diving and we got both and more ! This mini-resort - 5 bungalows - is situated in the mangrove, a mere 2 minutes walk from a deserted beach that only appears at low tide. The bungalows are spacious and tidy on top of being super clean. The food, which is served...

Hotel is ok for the money they charge you. Long story - short story. The bag with all equipment has been stolen on the territory of the hotel. We understand sutiation that it is possible everywhere and everytime, but we can t understand the owner who was promising for 3 weeks to help us with the police report (it is...

I would like to offer the following commentary to this review: The theft did not happen on our property, but at neighboring beach, about 10 minutes walking-distance from the resort. This is clearly written in the police report. The bag with the mask and snorkel was left unattended on the beach, the guest went for a walk on the beach...

If you look for a place to refuel and want to enjoy professional diving this is the place to go. We stayed there late October 2016. The place has 4 bungalows, three close to the mangroves and one on top with sea view but you hear the generator there. The only thing you hear at night on the bottom three...

Mamaling resort is a cosy resort which has a perfect location. It is run by the couple Rose (from Bunaken) and Tom (Swiss). In four wooden traditional houses, it offers space for 8 persons in total only. Directly in front of these houses are mangroves and a beautiful coral reef, where snorkelling can be done individually. The food was amazing....

Staying at Mamaling was one of the highlights of our holiday. Tom & Rose are great hosts and make you feel more than welcome at their small and cozy resort (4 bungalows). It is a great starting point if you want to discover the water world of Bunaken (either snorkeling / diving). You get a great service for the money...

Tom, the owner, is a mellow Swiss with a Mediterranean touch. Rose, his Bunakenese wife, is a quiet master who works discretely behind the scenes to make sure everything goes according to plan. Accommodation is comfortable and very good value for the money. There are 4 bungalows, we had the one on top of the hill, which is quieter (generator...
