They are under new management, new menu, the food is great, homemade cakes, outstanding service and they have added a outside patio. Great prices. Just get there early, always busy. Hey its worth the wait.

We spent 4 nights at Arts in the Garden and can’t say enough about the extreme thoughtfulness of Krishna. She is a very kind person and will assure your stay is pleasant. The house is very rural so is very quiet and peaceful. Our room was clean, well appointed and a good value. There are a few stairs but nothing untoward. There are some pets but were never allowed near the rooms. We would certainly return to Arts in the Garden

After booking our stay, Krishna contacted us thru e-mail and phone to make arrangements. We were a bit outside the everyday guest let’s say :o) When we turned up the driveway we were pleasantly surprised by the front garden and view on the house. We were very warmly welcomed by Krishna. She is a very kind, warm harted and pleasant host. There is a nice seatingroom for the guests when you enter the house. The room and bathroom were very clean and great for us. The breakfastroom is dressed with nice paintings of her husband. The breakfast was very good. Krishna takes the time to come and sit with you to have a nice talk and get to know you. She has lots of tips of places to visit - roads to take. Thank you Krishna to make our stay such a great memory. R & S from Belgium.

We stayed here for 2 nights, so we could visit Mont St Michel. Brian was away, but Krishna was very hospitable and made us very welcome. Arts in the Garden really is in the middle of nowhere, and we found it hard to find even when we got to the village, and had to phone for directions! Because of it’s location, we chose to be fed by Krishna both nights, and her meals really were delicious! We had booked the White bedroom, but she put us in the Cedar room instead, apparently because it had a better view, but the room really was very small, and we were unable to unpack! Cosy!!! Also the breakfasts were fairly basic, and we would’ve loved more choice of ‘non-bread’ options. However, Krishna is a wonderful host and the evening meals outstanding!

Krishna and Brian welcomed us warmly and made our holiday an extraordinary experience. We enjoyed two evening meals plus breakfasts there, and would give both a full five-star rating. Truly wonderful. We would highly recommend.

This terrific b&b maintains its high standard, as we find on revisiting every year. Now an integral part of our holiday and very convenient for the western ferry ports and Normandy excursions. Thanks as ever to Brian and Krishna for the excellent hospitality

We found this B&B to be pleasant - the website is a little misleading in that we didn't experience any of the outdoor settings or ambiance that looked to be on offer whilst we were there, in fact the garden looked in need of some TLC. Hosts were very hospitable to the extreme - no real privacy or anywhere to sit comfortably while staying ( even in the bedroom). You could say, in the nicest possible way, that this is a room in someone's home, comfortable but with little personal space. Breakfast was a disappointment to say the least. No fruit at all and unless one likes pastries or bread ( yes I know it is France ) it was a short tenure in the breakfast room. Wifi is advertised as being on hand however we couldn't connect - we were advised that all the local Cafes have free wifi but the problem is, there aren't any local cafes! Host told us HIS laptop connected but that ours wouldn't - as we are in business and need to keep in touch with our staff, this feature of a property is important. It would be helpful if properties didn't tout this as an option if it isn't. This B&B is quiet and tranquil - in delightful countryside - but also hard to find, even with a GPS and we had two!! Couldn't fault the intentions of the host in HER desire to please, but sometimes less is more !…

Second stay in this lovely house. First class food, excellent company and delightful gardens. This is a wonderful tranquil area with extensive countryside views. Quiet roads and a long gravel drive lead to this well renovated farmhouse with Wisteria winding its way along the brickwork. Two acres of beautiful gardens with hidden gems of sculpture await.

Lovely surroundings, first class food and conversation, excellent location and accommodation. Extensive outstanding gardens with trees, shrubs, annuals and home grown produce, dotted with artistic sculptures. Stayed at Arts in the Garden for two nights on our return from our holiday further south. A charming hostess and we would highly recommend Krishna's dinners - we ate in the house on both evenings and were not disappointed in any way.
