Burcombe Manor is situated just outside Salisbury in the tiny village of Burcombe. The rooms are very comfortable and the couple who run the B&B are very welcoming. Rooms are well appointed and the traditional English breakfast was wonderful. Our stay was only brief, but we really enjoyed it. A word of warning though: the manor was not easy to... More

Fantastic place to stay, Wendy and her family made us feel so welcome throughout our stay . The room was gorgeous, bright airy and so clean along with the ensuite with the sunken bath. The cooked breakfast was the best we've had in a long time, well presented and very tasty. All in all we would recommend here to anyone... More

Down a farm road, you pull into Burcombe Manor. Its actually a working farm, that they subcontract land to farmers. We pulled in at night and it was dark and a little foreboding. We were greeted by Wendy and felt welcome right away. She has good energy. Our room was dated, as was the bathroom, but all worked out fine.... More

This is a great location to explore Salisbury, Stonehenge and the surrounding countryside. The host, Wendy, is wonderful. Nothing too much trouble and so welcoming. The grounds are stunning. The local pub great too. It's an old fashioned place, so there aren't the facilities you get from a modern hotel, but that is a big part of its charm. We... More

We have stayed here a couple of times now. The most recent was just as wonderful as the first. If you want ultra high tech and all the latest gadgets and gizzmos, this is not the place for you. However if you want a warm friendly welcome, great rooms with extraordinarily comfy beds, superb views over the countryside, peace and... More

Went to a wedding here recently in a marquee on the grounds. Beautiful grounds and the staff that day were very attentive and happy to be there. This is the second wedding that we have attended where the ground is wet due to the great British weather so please be aware with regards to footwear if it's wet as you'll... More

After seeing all the reviews about this b&b ,i was slightly disapointed. The house was very quaint & Wendy the host was very friendly, but for the price i thought the room was a bit dated. The tv was so small you struggled to see it from the bed.It was also very very old & a cheap make TECHNIKA or something like that.The... Visited here on way to Wilton and Lacock and was impressed with the old-fashioned courtesy and hospitality!! I was in the attic room with huge oldy-worldy bathroom next to the room (not ensuite as such) All was comfortable and genteel. Good supplies in the tea/coffee dept and a flask of proper milk, too. Fan for the hot weather appreciated and... More

We arrived in the afternoon and were welcomed with a smile. The place had wonderful rural surroundings and the green fields were beautiful in the rain. The hall was grand and well kept as well as the stairs and landing. Our room had a good size and the bathroom was large. It was slightly tired and a couple of dead... More

This is a wonderful old manor house B&B, set in a vast rural countryside garden, totally surrounded by a tall hedge, giving complete privacy. Apparently the large lawned area at the rear hosts numerous weddings, etc. Our gracious host, Wendy, invited us into her home, and made us feel so welcome. Our room was spacious and delightful presented. Breakfasts too,... More
