Quality B&B in a charming Cornish cottage dating from the 17th century. Spring Cottage has been lovingly renovated by owners, Chris and David, offering 3 double en-suite rooms. Breakfast, their specialty, includes full English, vegetarian, or homemade pancakes, all at a time of your choosing. Spring Cottage's central location within the county is ideal for touring; all of Cornwall, Eden and Heligan are within easy reach, as are both coastlines.

Chris & David. B&B Hosts made in Heaven. By Far the best accommodation, hospitality and Breakfast,my Wife & I have enjoyed in 28 years of Marriage and Travelling. The accommodation is clean, and attention to detail is faultless. Chris makes the most extraordinary breakfast’s cooked to order and David is an incredibly talented Masseuse & Beekeeper which supplies the B&B and local high end outlets with the most delicious Honey and Honeycombs. I enjoyed one of David’s incredible Massages during our stay, which was totally affordable and left me feeling rejuvenated. He’s a Magician! As I pointed out to them both before we left. This is like staying ‘In a Cuddle’ not a B&B. Amazing!!

A most enjoyable week here. Wonderful welcome from hosts Chris and David with a terrific cream tea and the breakfasts - well! Beautifully laid out table, excellent choice on the menu with blueberry pancakes and fresh fruit, variations on standard British fare, home-produced honey etc. Greatly enjoyed. The room was comfortable with a good mattress, pillows and shower. Adequate storage provided. Lovely old cottage and delightful hosts. Lovely walks along the nearby Trelissian river and easy access to Truro.

We stayed in the garden room which was beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, plenty of space to store clothes, very comfy bed and the heated floor in the shower room was perfect. We loved the use of the separate snug to read in and make a cup of tea . The host Chris made us very welcome . Tea and scones on arrival! . Chris cooking was excellent. A great choice of breakfast items using locally sourced produce. During our three day stay I tried different items : full English breakfast, salmon and scrambled eggs and muffin but my favourite was the American style apple and cinnamon pancakes. Amazing flavour and texture . Chris was the perfect B and B host . He made my husband and I very welcome , gave us advice on the local area if we needed it and respected our privacy as well. We also loved meeting his very well behaved dogs . Thank you Chris ! …

A perfect relaxing stay at this lovely house. We were warmly welcomed with tea and homemade scones and clotted cream, Delicious. The room was light and airy. The bed was so comfortable. The little details made it a delightful place to stay. And the breakfasts were wonderful, a choice of offerings, from full English to pancakes, anything you could hope for, 3 nights was not long enough to try them all! Mostly home made or locally sourced. I indulged in a wonderfully relaxing massage by David a qualified massage therapist, in the in house treatment room. A treat to find ! Chris and David were super hosts, the attention to detail and help with recommendations and directions, Thanks you for a lovely few days.

We stayed two nights. Chris, our host, really looked after us, with a lovely cream tea on arrival with home-made scones made that afternoon. His breakfasts are amazingly good, lots to choose from. A full English with locally sourced bacon and sausages, or a scrummy home-made fluffy pancake with a choice of toppings, and other choices. The large breakfast table was next to a warm open fire. Our room was tucked away and quiet, looking over a pretty garden brimming with spring blooms, with a bird feeder attracting bluetits and a nuthatch just a metre from our window. We had the use of a separate cosy room to sit and read and make ourselves a hot drink. Chris's partner is a qualified massage therapist, with a fully equipped room in the cottage, offering massages from £60 but unfortunately we didn't have time. Maybe next time... …

Another gorgeous stay at this lovely B&B! We stayed here back in 2020, so was really pleased to come back again (sadly only for one night!). Breakfast is amazing! The pancakes are always perfect! Thanks again for having us, we will definitely be back again!

We had a very enjoyable 3 night stay at Spring Cottage, the room was spotless with everything you could need as was the whole property. Very good cooked to order breakfast. The location is very convenient for visiting the coast, we had family down on the Roseland which was only 15 minutes away. Chris is a great host with good recommendations for food etc. We would definitely stay here again.
