We arrived at this place to a smiling and friendly lady who showed us our room. The room was amazing at the top of the building, great decor and an amazing balcony. The hotel was right on the beach so it was well placed. The restaurant was the real let down with over priced average food, this wasn't the problem.... More

Their price for diving and the look of their room is very reasonable. The food a bit bland but can fix with condiments, soda was very expensive. Snorkling with Turtles is the best but too many fees, environmental fee, bring your own snorkle, if you can swim well don't rent vest, tour guide fee is a must, bring underwater camera, boat... More

Apo island is one of the BEST DIVING & SNORKELING SPOTS IN THE WORLD! The coral reefs are well preserved and the sea turtles are very abundant. Liberty's community lodge has a lot of friendly and helpful staffs. However one problem is the limited amount of electricity on the whole island. There is just a certain time in the morning... More

The room is very expensive considering what you get out of it. Energy working on solar energy and generators. No energy from 10pm which means no fan during the night. It gets so hot is impossible to sleep. You have to open the windows and then is when the mosquitos will send it's regards... even the bed has a "fish... More

I came here after spending one terrible night in Marios. Libertys offered me a spacious room with all meals for 1000 a night, which was pretty reasonable as the food was fine. I found the manager and staff very helpful and polite. I was visiting during some windy weather, so the seas were pretty churned up. Getting in and out... More

If you want to avoid a hassle trip, skip this one like what most of the negative comments stated. We booked a boat with them, clearly exchanged phone calls that the cost for the boat for each head is 300 ROUNDTRIP. I even sent an SMS to the manager to summarize what we've talked about. The manager seemed haven't seen... More

Liberty's community lodge is pretty much the only option when it comes to spending a night on this Island. Its prices aren't so bad and I GUESS its kinda decent. I went to this Island bc I was told it was one of the top sites to dive HOWEVER! Their dive shop is an absolute disaster all the gear is... More

We came to Apo Island stoked about diving and snorkeling with turtles and we left absolutely disappointed. Upon arriving at the island we went to different places to check out the rooms (including Apo Island Dive Resort & Mario's Inn). At every place we encountered rude staff that seemed annoyed to give us any type of information. We ended up... More

The room was really beautiful, with a balcony above the sea, for an incredible cheap price! You get a good price if you dive, but, considering the price we paid, they might also try to bring people back after the destruction of the world famous marine sanctuary by the typhoons (on east part of the island). But the other diving... More

Local staff are easy to get along with, though I knew some of the people beforehand as I've been to the Island when I was a little boy (25 years ago). I could say that the rooms they have has the best view of the beach front. Do not expect luxury, just go along and feel the simplicity of the... More
