Everything you read about this property is true. It's beautiful and the staff is wonderful. It's secluded and the guest rooms are comfortable, cool (like AC cool) and luxe.
Some fun things about the hotel are the screens on the balconys -- that is a...More
Room: Oceanfront. Very nice, the surf sounds were melodious and calming. Bed OK, shower top notch. Balcony view spectacular. Though I requested a lower floor we were given a 4th floor room. Knowing which elevator to take was challenging at first. Like a casino.
Our room was way out on the end near the ocean. We had a partial ocean view and could hear the waves from our porch, we were on the first floor. This is a beautiful property! Our room was perfect with a nice comfortable king...More

Not sure about rainfall, but that wouldn't be a problem if their children's room was kept up. I have a 10 and 9 year old and we visited the room on our first full day. Ping Pong table isn't in good shape, plus it's outside, although under the eave. The room itself has very little to attract older children. The hockey game is not working very well. No air cushion. The Foosball table is o.k., but the handles don't move very well. In general, if I were still a kid, (but don't ask my wife about that) it would be a disappointing, meagre game room. The movies at night were o.k. Plenty of activities for adults and several children activities during the day. Not sure there would be enough activities to keep kids busy if they were forced inside by rain.
