We stayed at this B&B for one night in late August 2010. Derek, the owner/operator, was wonderful! Provided great tips for where to eat, how to get there, etc. He provided glasses and ice when we returned from dinner with a few bottles of Magners. The facility itself was beautiful and very clean -- he built the place himself! Our room was lovely, en suite with TV, robes, and everything you could possibly need. Clean, plush bedding. Free wi-fi. Wonderful breakfast. Would stay two or three nights next time and use it as home base for more exploring. You won't be sorry if you stay here!

Wow! where do you start to try and describe the delight that a stay at Longfields Lodge provides under the friendly and expert care of Derek Robinson.
Freindly, helpful above and beyond what you would expect from anywhere else, charm coupled with a relaxing environment only goes someway to describe a stay there .
Longfields Lodge is a beautifully elegant retreat in equally beautiful, elegant County Fermanagh. The rooms are well-maintained and a cut above anything I have experienced even in major city hotels. Comfort is maximised, service is exquisite and the breakfast feast ,whether light or full blown Ulster fare is exquisite. The decor is stunning and elegant and with the friendly warmth and hospitality provided by Derek can only lead to pobably one of the best stays you could ever experience. Longfields Lodge is well worth the modest price that is asked for and for what is provided and experienced
is it any wonder we have been several times and maintain Longfields as top of our list to stay whenever possible. All I can say is just taste and see and go on spoil yourself!!

Relaxed approach, by owner Derek, who is warm friendly and helpful. Great accommodation, clean, comfortable and handy to Manor House Hotel. Super value and breakfast is traditional fry, more than enough to set you up for the rest of the day. Derek provided taxi numbers and delivered us back to hotel next morning to collect car. So if your going to a wedding in the nearby Manor House and want value and top class accommodation give this place a go.

I had the pleasure of staying at Longfields Lodge on a two day mid week break. It is very easy to find, situated in the beautiful Fermanagh countryside only a mile from the Manor House Hotel.

When you arrive, you can see that the owners have taken great care in creating an elegant, homely and comfortable space in which to relax. It was a cold evening and we were greeted with a cup of tea and a roaring log fire, the lounge has comfy sofas and chairs there is free wifi.

The bedrooms are spacious and individually designed with fantastic views of the countryside, the beds are exceptionally comfortable, en-suite bathrooms are complete with bathrobes and lots of little extras.

The breakfast is simply superb, it's all fresh ingredients and cooked to order, you will not leave here hungry!

I can highly recommend Longfields Lodge, a truly friendly place you will want to go back to time and time again.

I recently booked this B&B as I was attending a wedding in The Manor House Hotel. However, due to a family bereavement I had to cancel at the last minute. I had telephoned the proprietor at the earliest oppurtunity, (1 day before we were due to stay) explaining my situation, but all they seemed to be worried about was their money. I know that in normal circumstances that you are asked to give at least 48 hours cancellation notice, but due to a death I thought this would be different. Turns out the total amount has been debited from my account which I found was absolutely disgusting and quite upsetting. I will know in future not to book this B&B and will let others know what has happened to me.

Unfortunately this potential customer did not book directly with us, choosing to use the Tourist board on-line booking process.. They in turn use a Booking Agency which is not even located within the UK.. Consequently the cancellation policy was adhered to in this case.. This was explained fully to the customer over the telephone, and I agreed whole-heartedly with a request to allow the booking to be transferred to any other friends attending the wedding .. Could we have done much more?

Highly recommend. We had a course at the Manor house which was too dear to stay at. This BB only a mile from the hotel is comfortable and very friendly. Would def stay again. Spacious rooms and lovely breakfast Perfect to cut down on cost if at a wedding at the Manor house hotelmor to just get away. Thanks again Derek for making us feel very welcome.

Myself and partner along with another couple stayed here as we were attending a wedding at the Manor House which was fully booked. Although we thought we were 'missing out' on the swanky hotel our needs were more than catered for while staying at longfields. After arranging a late check in prior to arrival we were greeted at the door, shown our rooms and offered a lift to the hotel. Arranging breakfast for a slightly later time than advertised was also not a problem and was greatly appreciated the next morning! Breakfast was lovely and Derek and possibly his wife could not do enough to make sure we were comfortable and well fed. Definitely glad we stayed here regardless of how glamorous the manor house is, as the warm and friendly welcome on arrival, departure and over the phone more than made up for that.

We stayed as a group of 4 at Longfields Lodge for a friends wedding at the Manor House Hotel in July 2011. Right through from booking to check out Derek was the most helpful B&B owner I have ever come across! We were made to feel extremely welcome and nothing was too much trouble for Derek. Breakfast was fantastic and plentiful, the rooms very clean and spacious and the lodge is located in a peaceful and idylic location. I cannot recommend staying here enough and it is the only place I would consider if we ever return to Irvinestown.
