Booked four rooms to stay at this hotel. After reservation was confirmed we were informed it would cost €35 extra to bring our own travel cot for a three month old baby despite having booked a larger executive room to accommodate it. When we contacted the hotel they informed us that this price was discounted from their normal €60! The...

Dear, We can't understand your reaction. The policies are written on the site (booking) you booked. The only thing we told You on the phone was if You not agree with the policies, You have to cancel your booking. Please understand we can't do otherwise. Yours sincerely.

If you need a good base for exploring World War 1 battlefields this hotel will do just fine. It's very large, quite new and has a superb pool (so one of our party claimed). The breakfast was not great but quite pricey. The rooms were small but OK. The hotel seemed eerily quiet and it appeared to us that hardly...

Dear, We can't understand the comment that the breakfast is to pricey - the breakfast is always included in the room price ! Yours sincerely.

Very friendly, efficient clean hotel. Staff are excellent, the location is quiet as long as you have a room overlooking the fields which we did. The road is the other side. The restaurant served very good food with a good choice. A little pricey but it was good. Breakfast was ok with limited choices. Although there was omelette every morning...

Returned from our second visit today. This hotel has become our sanctuary for R&R. Absolute tranquility from the minute you arrive. The hotel is immaculate, the pool and sauna are fantastic, the location is ideal for escaping everyday life and the food was outstanding... Especially the BBQ scampi... However, without a doubt, the reason we feel so at ease and...

This a nice modern hotel but it's in an odd location next to a lorry park by the Franco/Belgium border in the middle of nowhere. It's quite isolated so there is nowhere to walk to. You either need to eat in the hotel which was quite expensive but ok, or drive to town so one of you can't drink. Our...

Dear, Our hotel is situated nearby the old border crossing , Almost all the rooms of the hotel has a country side view and not on the border crossing. A lot of people enjoy the tranquillity, cleanless and the family atmosphere of our hotel. Sorry we disappointed Your stay. Your sincerely.

We stayed for 2 nights. Very friendly family hotel. Bed very comfy, spotless room overlooking open countryside. Good choice for breakfast and evening meal very tasty. Lots of space to relax both inside and out. Although it is near a lorry park at the old border crossing it did not affect our stay at all. The hosts speak very good...

A wonderful family hotel situated about 8 miles outside Ypres in Poperinge. A modern interior with lovely exterior garden area and indoor swimming pool. Run by a very friendly family it is both up to date and very clean. Really hadn't expected it to be quite so nice. Very highly recommended!!!

We stayed here last summer and it was super- really recommended. We arrived early and the hosts were very accommodating and helpful, offering us drinks and somewhere secure to store our bikes. We were booked for a few days of very gentle cycling and exploring and the hotel is in a perfect place for that, as it's easy cycling distance...

We have just returned fro m our first stay here... I say first as we have booked our second when we left. We feltmwelcome and relaxed from the minute we stepped through the doors til the time we left. A clean, stylish hotel that achieved a homely, family feel at the same time. Well presented stylish family run hotel. Enjoyed a superb meal on the first evening - surpassed any of the other restaurants we tried during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel so welcome. The rooms were well appointed and very clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit the...
