My wife and I went to Fall Creek Falls for Easter. We arrived on Friday and were planning on staying for Easter Brunch, however after eating the buffet on both Friday and Saturday we checked out early Sunday morning as the buffet was not good at all. We saw no point in eating food that was not good. The room...

We ate at the inn/lodge and that was great. Sometimes they have a buffet for breakfast or dinner depending on how crowded the park is. I would not want to stay at the lodge, it looked dated and more like a hospital than a hotel. Instead of the inn, stay in a more expensive Fisherman cabin that sit right on...

We ended up with one of the few rooms that does not have a balcony, but the room itself was plenty big, and we enjoyed the view of the lake outside our window. There were not a lot of lights shining in through the window or under the door at night, making the room nice and dark, which I really...

We stayed 1 night at The Inn. It was clean but dated. No refrigerator or microwave. We were in a king room with a balcony on 3rd floor overlooking the lake. The cost was $116 for the night. The staff were super helpful and gave great ideas on what to do while staying. Robert at the boat dock was very...

A friend and I got the Bluegrass underground bucket list concert package to see Tommy Emanuel st the Cumberland caverns and this is where we stayed. It is on a lake in the middle of a state park. The views out our door were beautiful . The room was dated but everything was clean and the shower was amazing. We...

I was not expecting a resort. I was very conscious that I was booking a room at a state park and that I was paying under $100/night.* My boys (12 and 10) and I stopped here on our way from Atlanta back to Indianapolis over spring break. This was a pleasant refuge after the bustling of the big city. We...

Nothing individual wasterribly wrong with the rooms, but a number of little things added up...a dated decor, poor reception on some tv channels, inadequately sealed door frames that let in cold air and noise from outside, a commode that tended to run, and a noise in bathroom that sounded strangely like bees in the ceiling, but that likely was the...

We stayed at the landslide cabins. Our family of 7 had plenty of room. There is only one bathroom but we were there to hike and spent most of our time outdoors. The cabin is spacious and clean. The fireplace is gas logs so it was super easy to put on a fire and enjoy the warmth. We enjoyed our...

The park is beautiful with great access to everything and it alone is well worth the visit. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable but you will Not get wifi. I have stayed here many many times and always enjoyed my stay. The restaurant however is simply awful. The food is mass produced, dry, flavorless and extremely overpriced ($18.95 per...

The area is beautiful and the staff are very friendly and always willing to help. My only complaint was in trying to get a comfortable temperature in the room. I stayed in the unattached portion of the inn. The cold air came blowing in around the doors at both ends of the room. When turning the heat on just a...
