Just returned from a short stay at this great pub / inn. We stayed in a room in their new barn conversion and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The level of hospitality is second to none; every member if staff we had contact with were friendly, helpful and efficient. Furnishings are luxurious and attention to detail is superb. Food and beer... More

We were staying in the Beck Hall and decided to go out for an evening meal and chose the Lister Arms as it was very close to our hotel. It is a lovely pub with a good selection of Ales and there was plenty to choose from on the menu. I have the fillet and it was one of the... More

Stopped here for a meal in the evening after spending the day in Malham. Great food, nice staff and a very cosy surrounding. Restaurant was very busy and had plenty of buzz about it too, wouldn't hesitate to visit again should I be up here again.

The Lister Arms is a beautiful hotel that is located in beautiful village of Mallam. The location of the hotel is excellent, and the hotel is totally charming. I would easily give the location 5/5. The quality of sleep was not perfect for us as we could hear people out side , the room was too warm and sadly we... More

Stayed on Monday 31st October. After a long walk it was lovely to come back to the Lister Arms. Meal and drinks were fabulous however we did have a few issues with the room. The staff were fabulous especially Ross and a young lady, sorry I didn't get her name. They are a true asset to the hotel. Would recommend... More

My wife and I did a 10 mile walk ending at Malham Cove. We had parked out the front of The Lister Arms and put £1.50 into the milk churn to cover the cost of parking. Actually I think it is only a pound but I was feeling wreckless. Living near Brighton a day's parking would be nearer £20. As... More

Food was really good, we both had steak which was cooked perfectly, 'rustic' chips which were very thick and very tasty! The sauces were great too. We had the selection of local breads with oils and butter, which we would highly recommend. Breakfast in the morning: you'd assume poached eggs would be soft, these weren't, which was a slight disappointment.... More

Another visit to the Lister arms and weren't dissapointed. Food was good and generous and the other half was very impressed. But the main point must be the Beer. Each and every pint pulled and presented perfectly!!!! Can highly recommend the "hetton"! Overall another great visit and will be returning as soon as we can. Highly recommended.
