Love this place! Hurley is peaceful and the walk to Hurley lock a must. Second visit to the Crazy Fox and again chose the Warren. Check-in is easy-there is a separate room with a large table and a fridge; separate freezer and crockery/glasses should any be needed. The Warren is the largest room with a small fridge and seating area as well as a separate bath/shower and large tv. All you need in terms of the tea/coffee is there and milk in the fridge. Unfortunately, this was not left for us but we went to the small shop next door so no problem. There was another issue which we raised with Deborah. Will stay again but it is a pity that we cannot use the dining room and there are no fried breakfasts due to covid-the breakfast brought to our room was good but we did miss those breakfasts!

Just PERFECT! We have just visited for the rewind festival and we have never stayed in a b&b before, usually just high end hotels and I have to say, OMG! How wonderful the Crazy Fox is. Every teeny tiny detail is catered for and Emma, our host was perfect, friendly and made us feel like family at home immediately. What an absolutely gorgeous and fabulous lady! Also Bettina who we only saw for one morning but a really warm and friendly lady who again, just oozes the feeling of “you are so welcome here”.

We had the Den and my parents had the Warren and they truly are beautiful, beautiful rooms with every amenity possible from torches to walk back in the dark to fantastic honesty box and mini bar selection.

Breakfast is indulgent, very personalised and such high quality.

All in all, we will definitely be back!!! The welcome and the comfy beds are just spectacular , plus Emma and Bettina make sure you have a 5* service that is so personal which is such a rare thing nowadays. Thank you lovely ladies! See you soon xx

We only stayed for one night, but could not fault anything about the location, room, or overall service.

Modern access mechanisms for main entry and room, fresh milk in fridge for tea/coffee, motion sensor nightlight in the bathroom, charging cables at bedside, large modern Smart TV, multiple drinks/snack options in room and communal dining hall, excellent varied breakfast.

Everything you would expect is catered for, plus extra touches wherever you look.

Excellent.

We booked this hotel for our anniversary after reading several reviews so firstly we were disappointed to get an email 2 days before advising a continental breakfast would be delivered to our room - we enjoy a cooked breakfast when away - the breakfast was lovely but balancing plates on our knees is not our thing.it does not mention on the website that normally breakfast is on a large shared table downstairs , no good if you are not a morning person . The room is rather dark as the lights are very dim , we had to push the drinks trolley in front of the bathroom to see what we were doing . Room was immaculate and location superb.

Thank you very much for your review and hope that you still enjoyed your stay at the Crazy fox. We have since made the rooms a lot brighter and hopefully the breakfast the next time that you stay will be our lovely fry-ups, but due to the Covid regulations we have to serve all breakfasts in the rooms. Hope to see you again in the near future. Kindest regards

I visited last week and was WOWED from the moment I arrived! Every last detail was thought of, it truly was a home from home. The housekeeping standards were exceptional (Emma?) and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Great quality linen, plenty of towels and toiletries; these people really care about the guest experience and it shows. Delicious breakfast served by a delightful lady called Tina who couldn’t do enough for us.
I can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this wonderful boutique B&B to anyone!

What a super find, we had a wonderful stay at this unique boutique hotel for my 50th birthday. Emma greeted us on arrival and made us feel so welcome nothing was too much trouble. The Warren room we stayed in was spacious and tastefully decorated and the king size bed was super comfy. Everything was so well thought out from the Nespresso coffee machine to chilled milk in the fridge. Breakfast was a triumph with fresh fruit, pastries and a delicious bacon sandwich which we had requested the previous day (Covid dictated that cooked breakfasts could not be served in the dining room as the room was too small to cater for all guests and socially distance). I could not recommend this hotel highly enough for exploring the delightful area and being made to feel extra special by the lovely Emma. Thank you to the Crazy Fox team Xx

Very comfortable, warm room. Good quality bed linen provided, plus bath robes, which is nice. Many thoughtful touches: individually wrapped sugar lumps, a small bottle of fresh milk provided in mini fridge, good selection of teas and coffees, Nespresso machine, water jug that was already filled that day, a small torch for going out to the village pub in the evening etc. My suggestions would be for there to be phone charger sockets by both sides of the bed, and another socket by the mirror for a hairdryer. Debra and Emma have been fantastic in their emails and text messages providing a service. The continental breakfast tray was generous and appreciated. Pizzas at the Rising Sun pub up the road are some of the best around - thin crust, crispy bottom and generous, tasty toppings.

We spent an evening here for our 35th wedding anniversary and it wad just perfect! Hurley is a quiet picturesque village location with access to the Thames Path for a riverside stroll to either Henley or Marlow. The Crazy Fox is beautifully appointed, cozy and very comfortable. The bed was dreamy! There were so many highlights - great communication from the hosts, loads of personal touches making you feel at home, breakfast delivered to the room, a stocked fridge and snacks on hand, a village shop next door, 2 village pubs, exceptional choice of restaurants within easy reach, the list is endless! We can highly recommend The Crazy Fox for a memorable & relaxing break away from it all

Stayed 2 nights in 2 rooms, The Set and The Warren, both beautiful rooms, but I think the Set is just perfect, romantic, cosy, contemporary, comfortable and just perfect for a few days away in a beautiful village.
The mini bar in the room is a nice extra and not stupidly priced like some hotels we have stayed in, stocked with wine, beer, spirits, mixers, Pringles, chocolates and lots more just great if you get the munchies, the ice bucket is also filled for you on arrival.
The mini fridge also has fresh milk which is refilled everyday, the Nespresso machine is much nicer than instant coffee and has plenty of capsules, there are also lots of different teas and a kettle, 2 large bottles of fresh drinking water, everything you need if you fancy an evening curled up on the bed watching the large TV which has so many apps to give you a good choice of things to watch.
The bed was really comfortable, we slept really well.
Breakfast was continental but by the time you have eaten fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, pastries, toast and drunk the pure orange juice that is freshly squeezed along with the fresh coffee and teas you are certainly satisfied.
Nothing was too much trouble for the ladies who looked after us both mornings, it’s nice to have a chat and pick up ideas of places to visit.
The village is very quaint and if you stroll for a few minutes you find the river and some nice places to walk.
We will definitely return when visiting the area and recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay.
A good place to eat is the Hurley House Hotel which serves both Japanese and international dishes, great food and service.

Fab little boutique B&B in a lovely English village. Our room (The Set) had a very large and extremely comfortable bed. We appreciated the well stocked fridge inc fresh milk and the little details like phone chargers - even a mini torch for the walk back from the local pubs. Delicious and varied continental breakfast made by Tina. Would stay there again without hesitation.
