Typical small village country pub. Decent selection of beer. Wide range of food, with daily specials board. Food prices a bit on the steep side but portions are large so fair enough. We were here for lunch so unable to say what it was like for evening meals etc.

We stayed for one night after holding a family celebration of life in the pub. Having stayed in many different hotels in Cambridge for business and pleasure I can safely say that this is a bed and breakfast. The room was small but clean and tidy(it is a long since time I have had blankets on a bed!) but very...

Ate here on a Monday evening in January. We had a table booked for 6.30 and the place was quite empty when we arrived and to be honest we felt a bit daft having booked however over the course of the evening, the place filled up. The menu here is extensive with specials available as well. The staff were all...

I travelled for work and stayed here for two nights. The accommodation was convenient, fairly priced and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was good with a good choice on the menu. Will definitely stay again.

This review is a 3 year update from my last review, a lots seems to have changed since then. Much tastier menu and the staff are even more attentive. I came here for a Christmas lunch and a business lunch, great result every time, absolutely love the lemon cheesecake. Both ladies serving our table were lovely people and very helpful,...

Stayed overnight with our Trainee guide dog after attending a Dinner function. The staff were exetremely friendly and nothing was to much trouble. Room, although quite compact, was clean and comfortable, excellent bathroom and lovely bed. Breakfast was superb, perfectly cooked and "served with a smile" We will be back !

Good location not far off of the A14, nice village, good pub but the food was very disappointing. The menu is not extensive and quite expensive £12.95 for cottage which was a Saturday evening special! a small dish of vegetables between the two of us which hardly amounted to half a carrot each, tiny amount of cauliflower and a few...

Visited for Sunday Lunch with 3 grandchildren ( all under 6 yrs old). They had the burger meal - they were proper meaty burgers and a large portioned meal too. We had the traditional Sunday lunches which were lovely. For pud the kids had ice creams, that were garnished with fresh raspberries and chocolate slice. A nice touch. Husband had...

We stayed for 2 nights. Extremely quiet at night, slept with window open both nights and only heard a sheep baa once on the first night. The restaurant served wonderful food and breakfast cooked from fresh, to order.
