We stayed for 7 nights at the end of May and were very happy with the accommodations. For 6 nights we had the suite with a large living area with kitchenette and an upstairs bedroom with bathroom. Unfortunately, breakfast is not included with this suite, which was disappointing. (We had a different room the first night which included a delicious hot breakfast.) They did provide ingredients for breakfast, but cooking while on vacation is not our preference. However, the rooms were spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. WiFi in this suite is very unreliable, which was another disappointment. It was very good in the other room. The views over the Dee Estuary are just amazing, making it all well worthwhile. You can easily walk to the train station in 20 minutes. Ken is very friendly (he recommended a fantastic local wine shop, for example), and he and Sue made us feel most welcome. We would return here if/when we return to the Wirral.

We had a lovely stay. Ken and Sue are wonderful hosts. The location is great, we enjoyed a couple of local walks. The accommodation was extremely clean , comfortable and cosy. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. We look forward to staying again.

We regularly visit the Wirral & use Warren Cottage as a base to explore the surrounding area. We have stayed at this B&B many times & would highly recommend it. The hosts, Ken & Sue, are very welcoming & happy to share their local knowledge on subjects ranging from golf to gastronomy. The house itself is wonderfully located overlooking the Dee estuary & the North Wales coast. The room we stayed in was very comfortable & spacious with great views of the fantastic sunsets over the estuary. My husband particularly enjoys the delicious home cooked breakfasts which sets us up for the day. This is a first class B&B and we would not think of staying anywhere else.

I visit my elderly Mum regularly in Caldy and I regularly stay at this bed and breakfast. It's a very comfortable 'home from home' that is family run and gives a very warm welcome. The hospitality is great, the food is excellent, attention is paid to every detail and I highly recommend this to anyone.

Sue and Ken are the perfect hosts. Nothing is too much trouble and each visit warms me to them even more. I love the house, the gardens, the views and it feels like I come 'home' each visit. My Swiss partner also loves it here and each time we come over we would not dream of staying anywhere else but at Peel Hey or Warren Cottage

We stayed for a long weekend with my sister & her partner. Our rooms were great with a fantastic view over the water. Breakfast was brilliant with everyone staying sitting down around the dining table together. The food was delicious and the company great. This is a very nice B&B with a happy laid back attitude. We totally enjoyed our stay

Sue was very welcoming. We had amazing views from our bedroom. Gorgeous big living room /dining room area. The rooms were very clean. I would definitely recommend it to others, especially as it seemed good value for money.

We were so disappointed. We were expecting 'luxury, 5 star, boutique style bed and breakfast' as described in the literature. Whilst comfortable, it does not match the description. The decor is dated and there are none of the trimmings associated with 5 star luxury.
That said, we had a good stay, Sue was very welcoming and provided an excellent breakfast with local produce.

Hello Jane Thank you for your review. We are obviously disappointed that your stay with us did not meet your expectations and can only apologise for this. We operate a continuous policy of upgrading - your private lounge was redecorated only 9 months ago, & since your stay we have upgraded the TV with a 40inch Flat screen & have also replaced the lounge suite. We hope that your experience will not deter you from staying with us in the future. Kind regards Sue

We were so lucky to find this wonderful 'home from home' having had a rather bad experience in Chester. Both rooms were superb and our room had the most spectacular views. It is possible to take a short walk down to the beach or if you are feeling really energetic you have miles of the Wirral Way to explore. Ken and Sue were lovely, lovely people, very welcoming and a great attitude to business. Thank you both for a great stay and we will be seeing you again very soon. Only down side was having to look at Kens legs but you can't have everything. Only joking, thanks again from Honor, Sally and Don (you remember me the shy one)

Stayed overnight, arrived late, warmly welcomed which set the tone. Excellent night's sleep in very comfortable bed and spacious room. Splendid breakfast in homely atmosphere. Felt the owners (Sue & Ken) were genuinely interested in their guests and making sure that their establishment passes the tests with flying colours. Have re-booked for later this month!
