From the moment we arrived it was a superb experience! The Barn is beautiful, our apartment - number 6 phenomenal, even down to little touches like biscuits, cereal bars, and pan au chocolates being left daily. Gary and Jenny the owners are first class always on hand and so accommodating telling us the best places to eat even booking tables for us. Nothing too much trouble, the children loved feeding your alpacas!! Located close to local amenities but in a quiet location enabling good a nights sleep. Thank you both for an amazing stay, we will most definitely be back and highly recommend anyone looking for an excellent bed and breakfast to stay here.

We had the warmest welcome from Gary and Jenny when we stayed for a weekend. Perfect hosts who gave us lot's of interesting facts about the local area and places to visit. Our room was beautiful. Decorated with such style and absolutely spotless. Everything was provided for our over night stay. Breakfast options in the room including fabulous cookies! The courtyard setting is stunning and the views from your room are gorgeous including resident alpacas! Cannot wait to go back. Highly recommended from Em and Mike, Birmingham.

We absolutely loved our stay with Jenny and Gary. They are excellent hosts and the room was immaculately clean and fit our needs to a T. I was visiting family in the area and Gary had many helpful recommendations on places to visit and to eat while we were there for 5 days. It's very quiet (planes overhead only once in a while) friendly animals to pet and lots of nearby walks to take. The village of Hale is picturesque and everyone is very friendly. The pub has excellent food but you do need to reserve a table in advance as staffing can be an issue. We would definitely stay here again. Pauline & Jim

What a beautiful place! Booked very last minute and arrived late in the evening. Lovely breakfast and snacks laid out in the room with everything you could wish for and more. The most comfortable bed and bedding, it was like sleeping in a cloud! Will definitely stay here again Gary and Jenny are wonderful hosts and couldn't do enough to make my short stay comfortable. Thank you.

Been here before for a week whilst working in the area. I book and fund my own accommodation so I like to be comfortable and enjoy peace and quiet this place has both. Each room has its own front door so you can come an go as you please. Parking is about 10 feet away and you drive out through a security gate so it’s secure. Breakfast is continental in your room which has a fridge and a microwave as well as all the usual stuff kettle , iron etc. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and spotless so is the en-suite shower. Gary even gives you a lift the the pub if he is around. I’ll be back in a few months hopefully.

Lovely, clean, comfortable, great location and friendly hosts. Free secure Parking. Great to be able to have breakfast in your room or on the decking outside my room. Plenty of cereals, yoghurt, Danish pastries, cereal bars, fresh fruit, jug of fresh milk, real orange juice, bottled water, fruit teas, mint tea, normal tea, cookies, ground coffee, instant coffee (don’t think I forgot anything!). Such a lovely, peaceful and pretty place to stay. Chickens joined me for biscuits and coffee on the decking. I’m so happy to have found this little haven. Cannot recommend highly enough😊
