Booked spa day with treatment and high tea on itison and was pleasantly surprised at finding this gem of a place, first off the staff went over and above made us feel so welcome and couldn't do enough. Started with our high tea, beautiful display plentiful and tasted delish (there was 8 of us) and what we didn't finish, got...

The castle is stunning and the staff so welcoming. Beautiful countryside with walks around grounds Our room was huge, with a wonderful view Only criticism of room was that there were 3 mirrors but none which had good light and at right height to do hair and make up

My boyfriend took me on a weekend getaway recently but I insisted on putting my card down at checkin for incidentals. (He had prepaid for the room and dinner) At checkout he went downstairs and paid for the room service we'd ordered and breakfasts with his card. His card was charged the full amount for everything yet when I checked...

Stayed here for one night as a pre anniversary treat from my husband. Everything was excellent. We had room 22, main complaint was the climb to get there , we are so unfit but the views from the top were worth it. The room was very comfortable, nice cosy bed, good shower. Carpet was quite badly stained in places, as...

Food was divine. Presentation excellent. Service excellent. Castle immaculately presented and stunning. This building is incredible. Had a walk around the interior after gorging on the impressive high tea. It's well worth the visit. We were all very happy and thoroughly impressed. Definitely an experience you would not regret. We will be back when we next have visitors.

We stayed 3 nights and didn't uncover any of the more negative comments from some other reviews. Room was lovely, staff were always friendly and service was great. The food was amazing and dinner service was very quick - not rushed - but no long waits. Only negative was WiFi. They say they have it but I didn't get connected...

We had an amazing day once again. For the friendly helpful reservations team - in particular mhairi and Hannah. Our room was spectacular, would recommend paying the extra for room 22 you'll feel like king & queen with your very own turret! All staff were amazing, so friendly, helpful and professional couldn't fault them at all. Grace at breakfast was...

The castle is gorgeous as are the grounds. Service is impeccable and The Dungeon restaurant is outstanding. I have stayed here several times, each time reserving a four poster bed suite--huge, comfortable, so enjoyable.
