Our stay at the Hotel Villa Linda was nothing short of perfect. My husband, myself and our son spent two wonderful nights there. Both of our rooms were clean and nicely decorated, each room had decks with views of Lake Como and just the right amount of authenticity. Alberto and his entire family were so accomodating that by the time...

Villa Linda is a family run hotel. We stayed for two nights on our trip through Italy. Accommodation was good, but the air conditioning did not work so we were forced to keep the balcony doors open and found it very noisy due to the main lakeside road on which the hotel is situated. 20 minute walk into town either...

Our experience was the same as the review by Derbyshire_ girl_ 123. We'd initially booked the Britannia Hotel about half a mile west of Villa Linda but along with a bus load of other Brits we were dropped off at Villa Linda and given no explanation. We were unable to get anywhere with the staff at the Britannia who just...

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we spent a week at this hotel after being moved on from our previous hotel. We were not impressed at all. Aside from two pleasant girl on the reception desk and in the restaurant, the service from the staff left a lot to be desired. Most did not speak much English at all and one lady...

We enjoyed a lovely stay at this hotel recently. Food was excellent with a good choice - great pizza. Our room overlooked the lake with a balcony where we sat in the sun, even in January! Friendly staff who spoke several languages. Well placed for the ferries to travel round the lake.

“The rooms on the first floor with a full lake view seemed much nicer than ours, which was on the second floor. These were allocated to two couples who had arrived at the hotel in the same circumstances as ourselves and were more spacious and much cleaner.”

“Go to this hotel only if you have no other choice. Ask for a room overlooking the lake. Remember - this hotel is a shelter for the Britania overbookiung....”
