Me and my partner had a meal here recently we had starters and mains. All the food was beautifully cooked and presented. The food was delicious the restaurant has a lovely ambiance and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Well where do I start. Very expensive and poor food. Service not good. Will certainly put it on our not to go back list. Definitely not dog friendly. We felt like we were an inconvenience. Don’t de this and no can’t do that.
We came for dinner on Sunday 8th May 22. We had starters of patè, mackerel, whitebait. Then had the roast dinner. Wow what fantastic food. The restaurant had a lot of people in. The staff we're very friendly and helpful. Partner said we'd definitely be back. Thank you all at the Roman camp
Having lived in Norfolk pretty much all my life I've lost count of the number of times I've driven past Roman Camp in the last 37 years and never been in until today. What a shame ! We stopped for lunch and were absolutely delighted with the food and service. The presentation of each and every dish cried out "care, passion and attention to detail" and the flavours were there to match, from the highest quality extra virgin olive oil on the salad accompanying the perfectly cooked whitebail to the little strips of lemon peel in the exquisite crab liguine which just took the potential richness off the crab - we were very impressed ! Highly recommend locals (and others!) don't make the same mistake I did and leave it so long to sample the delights - we'll be back soon. Thank you too to the waiting staff who were attentive, friendly and for whom nothing was too much trouble..... they even brought a bowl of water for our dogs to our table.…
A real big Thank you to the staff at the The Roman Camp Inn having just spent 3 nights there can not fault it. The food the room was all spot on Lovely friendly staff & easy access right through for the wheel chair Thank You Kevin & Janice We will be back
We have had dinner at the hotel restaurant 3 times and twice we have had cause to complain and received a refund. One this occasion my vegetables were served lukewarm and the souffle was like a sloppy quiche filling. It was so warmed up it looked like it had been left over from someone else's meal. The staff were obliging and polite and took the cost of my meal off the total bill.
Stopped for lunch, the food was exceptional as always and value for money. The staff are very helpful and polite, I highly recommend this pub, I only wish we lived closer, it would definitely be my favorite local!
Lovely sandwiches, friendly attentive service. Couldn’t wish for more. Come here for lunch if at Felbrigg and avoid those queues. We really loved our visit and will return often. Also excellent outside space when weather permits.
We both chose the lamb shank Rogan josh curry. It sounded gorgeous on the menu but was very disappointing when it arrived. The mango chutney had a weird taste to it. The lamb shank was definitely frozen and the Rogan josh curry tasted like it was out of a jar. Very poor presentation and for £15 it was very over priced.
We both ordered the lamb shank rogan Josh which sounded amazing on the menu. It was very disappointing when it arrived, I think the lamb shanks were frozen and the organ Josh sauce tasted like it was out if a jar. There was no naan bread or poppadoms and at £15 plus a pop it was way over what it was worth.
