The Cross Keys is well worth a visit for a meal. The place is clean and well presented. Staff are efficient and friendly. Usually you are able to get a table but worth reserving one on a special day. Food is lovely. Nothing fancy just good homey cooking. Hubby always loves the mixed grill and I always love the fish...

Tge staff are all very friendly and professional. The food is very nice and all freshly prepared on ordering. Well worth a visit if you've not been...

The restaurant food was lovely and a good selection of drinks. The rooms are as expected a good size and hot water in the shower. The rooms were cleaned when requested, a great seat and highly recommended

Arrived early (11.45) on a Saturday lunchtime as we had my baby daughter to feed and we thought we would grab a bite to eat too! My husband and I both had the chicken burger off the lunch menu and it was tasty although it was the thinnest chicken breast we have ever seen. The lettuce was limp and the...

We went for Sunday lunch but never again. Patronising staff referring to everyone as "we." "What would we like to drink?" "Did we enjoy that?" And so on ad nauseum . The food looked and tasted like it had been played several hours before it was served and slowly warmed up in an oven . The result was incredibly chewy...
