Great location overlooking Oulton Broad, close to boating amenities. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped. Eating with my family on the first night I was served a suet pudding with uncooked pastry. When I complained, I was given a flippant "the chef says that he will do better next time" my reply was that there would not be a next...

After deciding on a last minute overnight break we booked into the Wherry Hotel in Oulton Broad, never again Whilst the property was mediocre and very corporate at best staff attitudes were the big problem, On checking in we were not greeted or welcomed, just asked stock questions without a smile,a greeting or any form of conversation and without the receptionist moving...

We are regular customers at the Wherry. That is why we decided to have our wedding reception there & stay in the honeymoon suite. The rooms are well appointed with comfy beds, lovely clean bathrooms. The only thing that put a damper on it was cigarette buts on the balcony, apart from that all was rosy.

Great first impression with a large car park and fabulous views directly on the broads. The lady on reception was really lovely and helpful and professional, and wore the most lovely perfume. We had an upgrade to a suite which was fabulous. We were so impressed we have already booked to return next weekend!! The staff are great, it is...

This hotel was chosen for convenience and at the price we were not expecting too much. However the hotel was very comfortable and well appointed and our room had everything needed for a comfortable stay and as a bonus superb views over the Broads. I would highly recommend.

Stayed here for 9 nights over Christmas and new years 2016/17 and had a good stay. Some of the reviews regarding the food had me puzzled. The carvery is what you get when you stay here so if its not want you want eat out. We had no issues with any the meals. Breakfast was fine, some people have reviewed...

The Hotel is good for bed and breakfast. Dinner maybe ok for carvery but do not bother to order from main menu, Food from main menu is poor. I have stayed at this hotel twice in the last few months and both times the food I have ordered from the main menu has been mediocre to poor.

Stayed here on a Friday and Saturday night. The hotel was nice, it was a good rate for both nights and the bar was well stocked with Adnams beers. The room was modern clean and the shower was powerful and hot. There is a nice carvery daily at a good price, breakfast is a buffet with full English available (although...
