Detailed Reviews
The hotel itself is mostly nice.
Quiet location (except for the ringing of the church bells in front), clean rooms. Lots of parking space nearby. Nice bar next to the lobby. Decent dining rom.
The service is not very good (i am being very polite). The refrigerator in my room didn't work. I asked more than 4 times to fix it and gave up in the end. They weren't too nice at the front desk either. Not to say nasty.
I don't think i'll want to return to this place.

Quite central hotel, parks nearby, very quiet. The people were very helpful and amiable. The breakfast is great! Large clean room with a nice view on the side and a french balcony. The bar downstairs was quite delightful also. I would recommend it for families and couples alike. If you plan to stay for a couple of days or you are passing by I would definitely recommend it!

The only stop in the northeast before returning to the south, during a tour of Romania. Clean, comfortable and very friendly staff. In the room there is a free bottle of water. Good breakfast and dinner! We were greeted with a glass of blueberry liqueur

This is a very nice modern hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable, there was nothing bad about it. Personally I'd normally stay at a place not quite this nice so it was a great place to stop. Restaurant had good food, both breakfast and lunch.

I was in Radauti municipality in January with my husband for the Old Style New Year celebration and The Gerald's Hotel was a very pleasant surprise. The rooms are very clean and the stuff is very helpful and polite. The food is also very good. I can recommend the local soup made with chicken and garlic - it is delicious! - and the brine chicken. The breakfast was not impressive, but average. I think The Gerald's Hotel is a good choice for accommodation in Radauti city.

Stay a few days @ the Gerald's Hotel. Average 'Premier Inn' style rooms.
Good location of hotel next to the park. Hotel really focused on providing a smoking space for football fans .. too smokey to sit in the bar. Bar snacks not great so ate in town at Antique restaurant which was superb (Italian). Hotel staff friendly / helpful
Lovely relaxing friendly town and great location to visit the monasteries which were magical ..

Arrived just after New Year's holidays, the hotel was cozy and calm.Had a warm welcome at the front desk and also in the bar. Had 2 hot teas because we were in a hurry, but we had time to enjoy the comfort of the terrace and the soft music. The bartender was very kind and looked sharp and clean, also the tea was served properly. Beautiful place, wish it would have had a swimming pool and a spa, but nonetheless it was worth the money.

We had a very good time at Gerald hotel, room impecably clean and everything perfectly functional. Excellent service, all stuff smily and helpful. The location is perfect, in the city center, near the park. At the restaurants and generaly where we've been in radauti, people are smiling and helpful - probably a characteristic of Bucovina people.
We will happily return.

Gerald's aspires to be a classy hotel. It is built on the monumental Eastern European style where overwhelming size seems to be more important than elegance. It's public hall is huge with islands of chairs and a long pale wood well polished reception desk. The tables in the bar continue that theme of huge and are so wide that chatting to the person on the other side is a little hard. The restaurant is more impersonal than the bar. The wine list prices were equivalent to London which seemed over the top for local wine that I could pick up for a fraction of the cost. The food was equally over priced and mediocre. Breakfasts were good. Coffee was from a machine.
The rooms were typical hotel rooms but the staff were willing to put the twin beds together and make one larger bed. No toiletries and the towels were hard rather than fluffy.
The staff were delightful, kind, thoughtful and speaking excellent English. Would I go there again? Yes but I'd eat out.

I was staying just for one night, but i found it a very pleasant experience. The hotel is new, rooms are spacious and clean and also, the services are really great (the lady from the front desk for example was answering all my 50+ demanding questions about the area and gave me some good advices about the small town). The breakfast was very good, had a little bit of everything, the only small problem being the serving hours, which for me were a bit too early - but i am just being subjective.
I highly recommend Gerald's hotel especially for those who come here with business, but also for families who want a quiet, peaceful time.
