What a wonderful hotel from the waking up to a beautiful scenery every morning to the toast bedroom to the the generous employees of the hotel. If you are looking for peaceful place to relax or even host conference, this is the place to do so in Miskolc, Hungary. I would love to come back when the weather is warmer... More

A beautiful hotel among the mountains, near to a nice lake, called Hámori-tó. This locatiion has clear, fresh air, it is silent. Perfect place for those, who like to make excursions, wants to visit caves or just want to have a real relaxation.

A hotel in a very nice green area, in the middle of the forest. Far from the noise of the city, friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast and the buffet dinner was very good quality. There are no shops nearby - which means that you depend on the hotel and the nearby bars, restaurants. In general I was very satisfied... More

The bathroom has a nice modern touch but where is the shower curtain? My husband is tall and unable to wash without splashing water all over the sink and floors. The tub is also slippery. I wonder how many ppl hurt themselves in these showers. For a four star hotel, i think they can afford some reinforcements of shower curtain,... More

Stunning from the outside with a large terrace looking out to a lake and beautiful scenery. Inside its slightly dated but my room spotless and had a balcony. A couple of things that could move this hotel from good to great. - rooms have no aircon, it was 30+ degrees south didn't get a great nights sleep. (being in the... More

This is the most proudly Hungarian hotel imaginable - worthy Hungarian knights escort beautiful Hungarian damsels in stained glass and tapestries. A national showpiece before the war and a trade union showpiece afterwards, only the lack of air conditioning stops it being a five star. Having said that we visited in 35 degree heat, the north facing room was pleasantly... More

Well worth the trip! Good service, good clean rooms, good buffet breakfast and dinner, great location, and very good amenities. The gardens have been restored to replicate original garden, with loads of extra's. Just wonderful :)

Huge hotel, old fashioned, elegant. Cuisine is ok, out of 2 dinners one was great, the other one just average. Good service, reliable wifi, well equiped meeting rooms. The rooms are refurbished, following the latest technology. 4* superior is not a sales statement. The wellness section (sauna, spa) are clean and worth visiting.

We spent a few days at the Hotel Palota with my family. The building and the surrounding park is nice, remembering on the late 19th century 1900 The staff was polite, the rooms were modern and well equipped. The buffet breakfast and the dinner was good, the dishes were fresh and tasty - not the level of Michelin Guide restaurant,... More
