We really liked this hostel. it's on a quiet area but they organize concerts almost every night on the bar. it's near by the lake and a small mountain to see great sunsets. the beds are cosy and everything is cleaned everyday. One of the best things is that they cook every night really yummy Hungarian food for just 5...

They serve sandwiches and drinks. They have the standard drinks, nothing special but you can select from a wide variety of drinks. The sandwiches are delicious and fine for a breakfast. The prices are the normal rates according to the type of the place.

Rooms were big enough, bed were confortable and showers were clean. The hostel is located less than 10 min away from Lake Balaton and offers an amazing place to have a drink and listen to a great music selection by the staff (Zsolt was always spot on with that part). The service by the staff is just great from check-in...

I stayed in Hullam for 3 days and felt as welcome as a traveller could be. Zoli, Andre and Justin made sure I was able to get to Zagreb from Revfulop (not an easy feat as it turns out). Food was available at dinner for less than 5 euro and it was all you can eat (very tasty). Andre also...

The best thing about the hostel was the helpful and accommodating staff. The room was very basic but adequate with a shared bathroom; when we arrived on a Friday night there was a live blues band entertaining at the busy bar which continued until 11pm. What also continued were loud conversations, until 4.30am when my wife ventured forth to discover...

Hullam hostel is an awesome place with a very good vibe. I can especially recommend the cheap but very tasty dinner option and the bike rental where they give you directions to the best places around, such as the wine region just to the south where you can taste and buy excellent wines.

Hard to find chilled places like this in the area, we were happy to find it. The stuff was great and welcoming and super helpful. We came without booking and although the place was packed they let us open our tent at the garden and use their facilities (kitchen, showers) so that was great. Thanks for everything! Tom and Inbar .

A great hostel with chilled vibes and easy-going staff. Despite their laid back demeanour, they are super hard working and ensured that our stay was comfortable and filled with things we wanted to experience. 10/10.

I stayed at the hostel for 4 nights.experience. The guys who worked thee were very very relaxed but very organised. The fully functioning bar did great cocktails and the music playlists were fantastic. I did the wine-tasting tour by bicycle which I would wholeheartedly recommend. The wine- tasting was only a part of a very informative day about the Kali...

Really liked this hostel. Accommodations are basic. Reasonably clean, as far as hostels go. The two best things are the location and the atmosphere. The location is excellent for convenience. One shop right next door, another 100m away. Beach is a 5 walk. The few restaurants in town are also nearby. Right next to the train station, the main road,...

“Talk to the staff. They know a lot. Also if you are doing a tour of the valley, use a bike. Doing it on foot is a bit too much.”
