It is our second visit to this most beautiful quiet location for contemplation and relaxation. The view from the terrace of our apartment "Le Stelle", was stupendous. In the right time of day, you could see the top of St. Peter's Cathedral in nearby Rome. The proprietress, Maria Letizia is a welcoming and engaging hostess. The apartment was clean, spacious...

At the end of nowhere, there is Montasola. Park outside the village walls and walk into the past. Owners of Montepiano are very nice people. Rooms are big but a bit noisy. Shower is outdated. A small kitchen makes life easy if you want to do some cooking yourself. There is a restaurant in the village below, and a nice...

My Husband and I travelled to Agriturismo Montepiano for our honeymoon in October of 2010. From the website, we understood the property to be an agriturismo. It is represented as one, but it is not. In favor of being an agriturismo, there are goats in the adjacent valley, no TVs or radios in the rooms and supposedly the owner presses...

Mum and Dad have raved about this place they visited in 2005 and told us we HAD TO go. Mum and Dad have never been so right! We stayed in the apartment that had the tower of the castle as your own private balcony!! We had to stay extra nights because we loved the views and the food and everything...
