Great place to stay. Everything accurate in every detail, from the kitchen to the room and the friendly, prepared and professional staff. I state that I am an allergy sufferer and I am always afraid to stay in facilities for the presence of dust, here I did not have any kind of problem despite there was carpeting, this means that they perform a thorough and thorough cleaning.
As for the dishes we had a very pleasant culinary experience, excellent raw materials, balanced flavors and original dishes, it was a surprise and a discovery every night.
Super recommended both for the service, for the excellent value for money and also for the strategic location.

I state that we were staying in the residence and not in the hotel so this review concerns on one hand the services of the residence and on the other regarding breakfast and reception the hotel.

Check-in/out: vote 9
You can do everything online thus giving speed to the welcome service, courteous, prepared and efficient staff. Very good

Ancillary services: rating 10
It is possible to have the indoor garage, equipped with remote control at an absolutely competitive price, also we had asked for a solution on the top floor and we were satisfied. Perfect.

Breakfast: 6-
It is one of the few sore keys. In fact despite the quality of the food is very good with fresh produce unfortunately the variety is very limited. The sweet part is really narrow, only one type of empty brioche and a plumcake, I would have liked some variety of cake, strudel typical of the area. Good jam, quality honey. The salty part is enough some cold cuts and cheese.
There are yogurt, fresh fruit and fruit salad. There are two types of juice, a nice variety of teas and herbal teas. Good coffee and cappuccino. I noticed a little slow in replenishing food, the first day we went down around 9.15 and many things were missing, I had to wait a little too long to be able to have breakfast with the things I eat. I have also encountered this situation in the following days, although not so clearly. Most of the waiting staff are friendly, efficient and professional.

House: vote 7/8
Spacious room, well maintained. Comfortable and spacious bathroom. Comfortable bed; the pillows not too much, they are low and created cervical pain.

Cleanliness of the room: vote 5-
Cleaning takes place every two days as indicated for the residence, it is not a problem at all but it would have been better if on the days provided they were done properly. The bed was in the same state as it was left if not for the duvet arranged, at least put the sheets and pillows in place making everything neat. The other room cleaning was perhaps overlooked. Service should be improved.

Good breakfast (even if the staff lacks helpfulness) with the restaurant room evidently recently renovated. Too bad the room was a little cramped, bathroom with worn towels. From 11 am onwards, the room cleaning service is no longer there, and perhaps it would be better to clarify this.

The room for two, was miserably poor as if it was a youth-hostel without even an electric kettle.
Since the hotel is located on the highway, E66 which crosses the valley of Pusteria, you would have expected sealed windows. Forget about it !
Not only that, during the day, the room heats up like an oven absorbing all the heat from the roof because there is no thermal insulation (I wonder what happens there in the winter…) and it`s literally UNBAREBLE to stay in the room due to the heat. All that could easily be prevented by implementing an AC, and NO, there isn`t a single room in all the hotel equipped with a AC.
Moreover, one must sleep with open windows and is awarded with a rising morning wakeup thanks to the heavy traffic of lorries crossing the valley - freely choosing between no-sleep or suffocation. Even the curtain doesn’t cover all the window, giving your neighbor with whom you share a balcony, to easily see and/or hear you since the separation is pretty much equal to a kindergarten barrier, so even your privacy is compromised !
Nevertheless, dinner was delicious, and the fresh honeycomb every morning was really a treat. But there are no omelets whatsoever for breakfast, and one would probably order a pizza to satisfy their appetite after a long day of hiking since the size of dishes served on dinner is very small.

We stayed at the Lodenwirt for one night on our way home from our trip to Venice. We booked the option with a 5 course meal in the evening. We had 1 large family room - (4 people) and another single room for my sister and my brother in law. The family room was very roomy and the bathroom was also large. We shared the room with our teenagers 14/16 and they slept comfortably on a pull out sofa. We were on the weekend before Pfingsten (just at the end of pre-season). The weather was great and the nights still cool. Also, it was not super busy. The Hotel is located on a busy street but traffic was not too hectic and we were able to sleep with the windows open. No problem. The five course meal was a pleasant way to end a very nice vacation. Breakfast was included the following day and the assortment of items was generous.
I would recommend this Hotel and would stay there again.

We stopped over at this hotel for one night, on our way to Tuscany, Italy. The hotel is located next to a quite busy road and adjacent to a small local merchant square, although that traffic won't bother you at all.

We had a spacious room for 4 in the nearby building (a small office like building) and had to cross the parking to get to the main building, with the restaurant and small wellness centre.
The room itself was very clean, contained a kitchenette, and was very quiet as it was located at the back, facing the mountains. We could easily sleep 4 people.

Restaurant serves quickly and you 'll get good pizza's at reasonable price. Breakfast in the morning is a buffet, containing most things as you would expect for an average hotel- buffet.

After getting a coffee which was basically water, the waitress claimed it was normal, did not even examine the coffee. The boss was on holiday? The second in charge also did not examine the coffee! Said it was normal that it looks watery.
The first time in my life that I complained about the coffee! And considering the reaction, I can only say" that is the worst coffee in all of Italy!"

Due to high occupancy over a national holiday weekend, we booked one night at this place prior to traveling on to Merano.
The hotel is located right next to a highway. Service was friendly but not very good. Hard to get hold of anybody at reception and the restaurant was very busy.
Breakfast disappointing for a places that describes itself as “Genusshotel”. Limited selection and quality was average.
Our room (not in the main building) was very minimal. Not worth 135€ a night.
We felt for 90€ it might have been okay but what we paid was definitely too much.

The hotel is pretty nice with a spa and a "Loden factory and museum" attached for which you'll get a discount coupon. The restaurant is also pretty decent with a huge choice of pizzas and regular regional food items. All served in a pleasant atmosphere and reasonable prices. But....... as the other reviewers noted, the hotel is on a very busy road in the Puster Tal, we were there on a hot and muggy night and you couldn't open the windows if you wanted to sleep, it was just way to noisy. The village of Vintel is pretty dreary and you are pretty much a captive of the hotel property. We stopped there on our walk from Munich to Venice, particularly to get an early start for the next stage. To sum it up, rooms and restaurant were pretty nice but the noise.....

Ciao.
