All rooms have recently been rennovated to for upscale market. Kasauli Regency's RoofTop Bar & lounge called "Hangout" becomes lively in evening with Global music, Live Music performances by Musicians and DJs. Hangout is the most Happening Bar in Himachal. Events: All Sundays- Open Mic, All Thursdays Techno Music 4 to 10 PM. Also the first hotel in India to start "Silent Noise" or "Headphone" parties, a European concept. Only Couples or Females are welcome to book rooms and Stags are generally not allowed.

The room was amazing. The view was meh. I am rating it 3 because of the following- At this price, at least for the suites, breakfast should be allowed. The shower shampoo and gel apparatus wasn’t working. There was no hot water. The mini bar wasn’t stocked.

One of the best stays in Kasauli. The staff was polite , service was prompt. I would recommend this place. The place was in demand and would recommend book well in advance. Their roof top cafe was a cherry on top. The view of Kasauli from there is just phenominal

We booked a family suite with balcony. It had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and came with a good size balcony. The room was spacious, clean and had good amenities. The hotel is small with just one building. The reception area is not that impressive but staff is courteous. The famous Hangout rooftop bar has a nice ambience, though we found it too be a bit cramped. The outdoor area of the bar has an awesome view. The Hangout bar serves a buffet dinner around 8.30pm (not everyday though - Sunday night we were told no buffet is available). We are in the habit of having early dinner hence we ordered from the a la carte menu for members of our family who were hungry and rest of us waited for the buffet to be set up. Food was good in both - the buffet and the a la carte menu. Our room rate came without breakfast so we did not have breakfast there and hence cannot comment about it. There is not much available outside the hotel - just 1-2 small dhabas or a small stall selling maggie and such stuff. We did not try them as we could hardly see any customers there. Instead, we went to the Mall road/Heritage market side and tried a variety of different dishes from different stalls there. The hotel is located about 2kms from the main Mall Road/Heritage Market area. It's on a somewhat steep and narrow slope so sometimes the approach can get blocked due to vehicle coming from the opposite side. They also have extremely limited parking space due to not enough space around the hotel area. Also, do note, if you are arriving by hiring a car with driver, there is no dorm/accommodation provided for the driver. Overall, we had a comfortable stay.…

Kasauli Regency is an awesome place to stay whether you are with friends or with family. We went there with family and had a great stay. Place is near to mall road just 2 kms. Location and food is by far the best that we had. Room service was good with timely delivery of things ordered. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. A must place to stay if you are visiting kasauli. This was my 2nd time here and was happy with everything. From checking in to checking out, everything was smoothly done. Hangout(the rooftop) was as always amazing, thanks to the view. My only suggestion to the hangout staff would be to check the plates before serving, for any dirt(though it didn’t put a negative spin to our stay, still will not be welcomed by many). But the overall experience was fun.

I had a nice stay, room was good but left a lot to be desired with the views and a missing balcony. The place has a rooftop bar, which has some nice views, awesome sitout area and gets happening in the evening. My only issue was that they charged me more for all the F&B orders than what was listed on their QR scanned menu. On bringing it to the notice of the Front Desk at the time of checkout, I was showed a completely different menu compared to what was provided in the room through the QR scan. While the Front desk personnel did acknowledge this error but they did not offer to refund the additional charges. Since it was a difference of only about Rs. 500, I did not create an issue but it did leave a bad taste in the mouth. Expect better professionalism, which was missing not only at the Front desk but also in the staff at the bar/restaurant.…

Hi Sumit ! Thanks for a detailed review. And we are happy to know that you liked the famous Hangout Bar. I don't want to loose a guest like you for a small mistake of ₹500. Infact the menu service is provided to us by a company called putpuja. When you scan it, it will take you to same page or IP address, irrespective of the QR code in room or Bar or reception. Also the customer only can order from his mobile. While ordering, the price is also shown next to the item and when you finalise it and tap it, same goes to kitchen and bar to my staff for praparation. I have checked it thoroughly, could not find how it could have happened. But we would still like to return the extra payment that you mentioned. We are in hospitality sector and can't loose guests like you. After your complaint at reception, my receptionist rushed to the room you just checked out, to scan the menu, but since you may have been in a hurry and left. Kindly provide us your gpay number and amount you think was charged extra. My what's app 9418012300. I would like to refund it immediately. If one looks for hospitality and homely atmosphere in the hotel then kasauli regency is the perfect place to stay.An everlasting memory given not only by the hotel staff but also by the owner..it's a place where you get peace and fall in love with nature.Also the sunday mic at hangout was heavenly..Hats off to you guys and wish to come back again soon

I visited with my family in June 2022. Rooms & Washrooms were Clean & Hygienic. Hospitality was up to mark. Value for money deal. Balcony with swing give great feel. We enjoyed a lot there. Staff was cooperative & intelligent.
