I had been south, was returning north, expecting eventually to return to Oviedo for a hotel, when I came upon this small city and 3-star hotel. The price was so absurdly low (Spain is suffering bad economic times) I had to see the room before taking it. The hotel is nearly new, in very good condition, and I think very nicely done; the view from the room was of the hills. The owners spoke not a word of English, and my high school Spanish from decades past was little better. Nonetheless, it all worked out. I asked if there were a self-service laundry in the town (laundry always the traveler's curse). They said no, but she insisted upon doing my two loads ABSOLUTELY FREE! He was also helpful in other ways, e.g. in nearly taking me to a restaurant he recommended. That night I believe I was the only guest in their narrow 6-story building--maybe an aberration or maybe not. I find myself concerned how they can make it after having expended so much in building this nice place... More

It was a great surprise to have found this nice accommodation without being booked in advance.
Warm atmosphere, and above all, nice views ... just to enjoy!! We recommend it, Trust me.

You should visit this place and the surrounding area, biking, walking, and enjoying the people from Asturias, very good companion, indeed.

Thank Isabel A
