This hotel is very suitable place if your intention to spend a couple of days in a quiet and comfortable environment for taking part in different study activities, business meetings or other similar events. Lovely place with well-equipped rooms and good restaurant. This review is related to the main building where we spent about 3 days.

Unfortunately I stayed here during a business trip, means out in the morning, in in the evening. I got a great room on the second floor with extra Jacuzzi. The breakfast offered everything a local breakfast should offer, but might not be too easy for Asian customers. The menu of the restaurant has a good variety and the portions are... More

I was there as a guest for a special occasion recently. Though the location was very nice, it couldn't live up to my expectations. Finger food served on a buffet in the afternoon was not well preserved, hence, looking dry and not very appealing very quickly. The venue in the evening offered stunning views, but no AC. Due to previous... More

The hotel is really nice, a bit posh perhaps but split into three buildings. The main house, the Pfarrhaus and the Schulhaus. I had been staying at the Pfarrhaus and the room was nice and cozy and the walk for the breakfast and the dinner wasn't too bad. Bathroom and shower were very nice, too and the room had enough... Situated in Balve, Sauerland, this small family run hotel is a great find. Very professionally run, it's very clean and well presented. The staff are very friendly and generally manage to communicate with a non-german speaker. I had a room in the Garden House that turned out to be a huge suite. Unfortunately for me, a previous occupant was a... More

The hotel was booked by a colleague so wasn't sure what to expect. Arrived to find out that the room was in a lower building. Not a promising start. Arrived to room and what a surprise. It was huge !. Nice large layout with a separate lounge area. In the evening the only issue was the restaurant was closed so... More

If you love nature, this is the right place. Nestled in the sauerland, the Antoniushuette is a very nice hotel. Just make sure you ask for a nice room. Mine was on the ground floor and somehow it had no good ventilation. Kept the windows open over night but the room never cooled down. Great place for long walks, restaurant... More

The hotel is situated in a small town far from main roads. You may need a good map or GPs to find it. Once there you will find a fine country hotel with a pleasing combination of old charm and modern comfort. There is mural in the restaurant that chronicles the development of the hotel by the same family, from... More

Rooms are quite large, but I heard it depends on which room you stay in, as some are newly renovated. The hotel is basically made of 3 or 4 different buildings. Electric plugs are everywhere in the room. Bath room is large with a shower. Lighting was good. For the negative: the TV had only a very limited choice of... More
