Beautiful hotel in peaceful surroundings. Comfortable room (superior) and very friendly staff. Our room was close to the stairs so we could hear everything that was going on downstairs but for the rest the area is very quiet. Nice pool area with both sun and shade and a new spa, which is beautiful, treatments are rather expensive though. The restaurant was closed on Wednesday but the hotel provided a smaller menu for us to choose from, very helpful. Good dinner and breakfast.

As usual, this hotel deliver every time we visit. Quick check in and good service in rural countryside. A visit in the spa give massage to the back after a day behind the wheel. No noise and light disturbing, good food beside the pool before a quiet stroll with my dogs and a good sleep. My only problem in this hotel always start after a nice breakfast. When we are driving between Spain and Norway I'm always in a hurry every morning, but this place has something special. From the first stay here in 2015 I discovered that l can't leave, one cup of espresso leads to an other outside the door. One stroll with the dogs leads to another, and that's not any problem anywhere else. Looking forward to go back.

We were three adults with one dog and picked a villa. It was perfect. Plenty of space and even had relaxing movie nights. We had facial and massage treatments with Sarah - on the holidays no less! - and she was wonderful. Special meals for Christmas Eve and Christmas were spectacular. The entire staff was amazing but Alfa was a standout. Breakfast every morning was a perfect way to start the day.

The hotel is beautifully situated in the countryside, the entire complex is very well maintained and has a calming effect on your well-being.

The rooms are simple, but very nicely furnished. We liked the open closet and the Bluetooth speaker.
Unfortunately, the bathroom makes a very functional impression and urgently needs to be renovated and repaired in some places.

In the evening, we enjoyed a very tasty and high-quality dinner at a lovely table by the pool. The staff were also very attentive and very friendly.

The breakfast was good, but we were surprised and disappointed that you have to pay extra for egg dishes. This should be included in a hotel of this category.

One downside was that the safe in the room was broken and unfortunately could not be repaired or replaced on site. We had firmly relied on the safe and were disappointed when we were billed at reception the next morning, as no concession or compensation was possible even when asked.

We would have hoped for more goodwill here, especially as we stay in the region several times a year.

Overall, the hotel lacks a soul, an owner or someone on site who can take responsibility and find quick solutions. The staff are nice, but not competent.

My husband and i took the romatinc pack and had an incredible stay at Mas Falgarona. We loved everything about it. The location is beautiful in the middle of the countryside, the hotel is located in a beautiful stone building that has been refurbished with fantastic taste, taking care of every little detail. The rooms are quiet and peaceful, the food is excelent. We strongly recommend for a quiet and romantic stay

This Hotel was chosen by Backroads as part of their PYRENEES TO COSTA BRAVA Premiere Inn Biking Trip. Compared to the other 2 Hotels selected on the Trip this was a real disappointment. My room was extremely sparsely furnished with an external blind covering the window so I could not look out of the window. There was no place to unpack my suitcase other than on the floor. The food served was reasonable but the actual service was really slow and it took ages for the various courses to arrive. I ended up leaving before desert was served as it took so long and I was tired.
I requested that they fill the empty liquid soap container in my shower area and the service was so poor it was never attended to so I had to walk out of the shower to the basin everytime I needed more soap when I was showering. Fortunately I only had to stay there for 1 night.

This property is pristine and beautiful. The owners Severino and Brigitta learned the hotel business in Switzerland and brought all their experience to this property. They are meticulous in how they treat their guests and have designed a class A property. The grounds are perfectly maintained, the buildings very attractive some dating back to the 17th century. Even though you are in the country you have you have available great wines, laundry service, attentive staff, etc. They have no mini bar but ice on demand. The breakfasts and dinners had a nice variety and were delicious. The parking is spacious and free, the pool large and super clean. Since it is a small hotel you are never crowded anywhere on this spacious property. You feel like you have this place all to yourself. During our 18 days across France in Spain these were the very best bathrooms we encountered. We would recommend this property to anyone. Kevin & Linda Smith

The location is great, the hotel is in excellent condition, the service is impeccable, the food is delicious, the atmosphere is very friendly. The only gripe is the price as paying Euro 300 for a 4 star hotel in the middle of Spain is a bit too pricey.

If you have money to splurge, then definitely go for it. If you are looking for value for money, you might want to look elsewhere ...

Stayed at Mas Falgarona on our way to meet friends in Provence. It was clearly the most peaceful, relaxing and elegant place we stayed during our trip to Spain and France. Our suite was so beautiful and the grounds were impeccable. I had an amazing massage there with Sara - one I’ll never forget. The food was Michelin worthy and the staff did everything to make our stay wonderful. Loved everything and would go back for sure. Thank you for everything.

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff, the room was perfect and spotless , the spa was a nice bonus but very small. The only criticism I would have is that on the first morning we were offered egg and bacon for breakfast but not on the second morning, it would have been nice to have the consistency of what is offered when different staff are on duty.
