The Hacienda is a fabulous place to retreat for awhile from the frenetic pace of sightseeing in the cities of Spain. It is ideally located to take day trips to Seville, Jerez and other areas of interest in southern Spain. The rooms are large and decorated with a great sense of place. The vibe is casual and relaxed and reflects...

We stayed at the Hacienda San Rafael in the middle of October for 4 nights for a short relaxing birthday break/celebration for an elderly relative and a relaxing birthday celebration break is exactly what we got. We stayed at the hotel (didn’t venture out) for the duration of our stay and I must say the hotel team over there have...

We spent two nights here and thoroughly enjoyed the experience - we had visited in previous years and found the same comfort , good food, and concern for our well being as we had on the previous occasions. The gardens with their choice of swimming pools and areas for relaxation are a particular feature. The fact that it is so...

It is with thorough consideration that I decided to give Hacienda de San Rafael only 2 out of 5. The most important cause is the staff. Let me start with the positive points: Location - in the middle of the Andalusian olive fields. Stunning! Hacienda - wonderfully kept old Hacienda with lots of century old features. Fascinating. Rooms - although...

Stayed here for three nights on behalf of business. Beautiful place with great intimate atmosphere and accommodating staff. Food and service were impeccable. Great venue for a romantic retreat. Only drawback is that it's in the middle of nowhere and Seville is 45 minutes driving.

We stayed at the hacienda for my daughter's wedding - for three nights. It was absolutely idyllic- the staff couldn't do enough for us and the setting was amazing! It was a very special time for the two families to get together before and after the ceremony. It was expensive - but unforgettable

The grounds and rooms of this hotel are unquestionably beautiful, and the service is friendly (not exceptional); however, the prices are beyond anything I have experienced before in Spain and we didn't think it was worth it. When paying the bill, they added a 10% "service charge" on to everything (even a self-serve salad buffet lunch at 30 euros). Go...

The Hacienda is perfect for a relaxing holiday in the sun to disconnect from modern life or for a more active sight seeing break. The brochure in the room gives romantic explanations of the many trips and visits avaliable to you. The staff are then happy to give you advice or organise something for you. The vibe of the place...

We recently had our wedding at HSR - it's really hard to put into words how incredible our wedding was thanks to HSR. We were made to feel so at home, as were our guests so that set the very relaxed tone for the whole wedding which span out across three days. We could not have asked for more from...

My daughter recently had her wedding at this wonderful venue. Family and friends booked the entire hacienda for 2 days. The staff were very accommodating and laid on dinner for us all in the open courtyard the evening before the ceremony. The day of the wedding a substantial buffet was on offer for €30 per head. The wedding breakfast was...
