it reminds me the prancing pony from TLOTR...it`s a magical place where to rest and full your belly with great home made food, beef or pork. Unforgettable, and if you walk the Camino, dont miss it¡ Alvaro

Very nice and quit place. Realy good service. Nice house menu and a nice little luxury for a pilgrim. The staff are service minded a helpfull. The rooms have good bathrooms and beds. Only reason for not 5 stars is that some things are misused and worn. But still pilgrim luxury.

Set 8 km from Santiago, right on the Camino, this place is great if you want a short walk into town for your final day. Out in the countryside, very quiet and away from it all. The rooms are large with a living room, a kitchenette, looking onto a yard with lots of high pressure hot water in the shower....

I went there with my husband and 3 small kids, as a last stop in our Camino. The room was great! It was one of the few places along the Camino who had a cot for our baby when we arrived in the room. We had dinner with them and the food was brilliant. Home made, super tasty food! The...

I do not recommended Anancio for pilgrims. Overpriced food with tiny portions. They refused to turn on the heat in both the dinning room and bedrooms were very cold. Even if you are just passing by beware, they will not let you bring your pack into the restaurant area.

This was our last stop on the Camino as we wanted a shortish walk into Santiago. Our room was beautiful, well appointed with cooking facilities. There was a lovely garden to relax in. Best of all the food was amazing! Gorgeous selection of puddings, including the best Santiago cake we had come across on the Camino. Actually, even better than...

Our Camino is coming to an end, this is our last night before Santiago and we arrived about 4 hours ago. Our room is lovely and big with our 1st fridge in our room since arriving in Spain 3 weeks ago, which sent us into a few cheers of delight. Our host is so helpful but dinner is 8 pm,...

8km from Santiago de Compostela, this place provides a lovely refuge and rest for the last leg of the camino! Great food and friendly staff as well as a beautiful patio to take a rest! We paid 40 euros for a double room without prior booking- bargain! Rooms also include a kitchenette in case you bring your own food.

Having just finished 1500 km on the Camino, our group put together a list of our Best and Worst accommodations. I have to say that Casa de Amancio is at the top of the "Worst" list. The welcome was unfriendly, dinner was barely edible, the house wine was unbelievably bad and the coffee was tepid. Breakfast was not any better....

A bit difficult to find if you are coming from Santiago, but as a last stage on the camino I could not fault it. The food was absolutely excellent, both in the evening and at breakfast, and the prices more than fair. The accommodation is in chalets, behind the farmhouse, fairly basic, but clean and quiet.
