Just couldn't resist coming back here - see my previous reviews of the chambres d'hote and restaurant - and it continues to be a really lovely spot to spend a few days. The room was so comfortable and peaceful, the setting so beautiful and the owners so friendly that you really couldn't ask for more. (I should add that, mediaeval...

Our 1st trip to France, and Le Bon Accueil met all our expectations! The owners were so helpful and friendly, and tried to encourage our very average French! The room was lovely, and the spacious bathroom was a real bonus - excellent shower! The only slight criticism was the pillows- not the best! Breakfast was simple but well done. We...

Thanks in large part to our hosts at Au Bon Accueil, this was the best holiday ever. The place is set atop a peaceful and picturesque mediaeval village away from the madding crowd and, in the evening in particular there is a magical feel about it. The room is spacious and comfortable and well-tended. A big bonus is the restaurant,...

This chambres d'hotes is at the top of a fairly sharp climb in this stunning village, but worth the schlepp. The good sized room was anything but typically decorated. Aubergine walls, towels and bedding. The bed was a little on the cheap side - slats and a thin mattress. The bathroom was large and modern. A nice touch was a...

The hoteliers are a gracious, friendly couple. The hotel has an extraordinary hilltop setting, overlooking the confluence of La Vezere and the Dordogne. The restaurant is excellent. There are fantastic explorations to be had in every direction. The gardens and lark just above the hotel are stunning and are a superb place to hang on a hot day.

This was an exceptional and stylish chambre d'hote in a beautiful and peaceful location atop a mediaeval village. It was very comfortable and clean, with plenty of space for clothes, an excellent bathroom with a super shower and heated towel rail. There was also a television and free wi-fi. The people who run it were extremely accommodating and friendly, not...

The positives are the building is located at the top of the steep village and almost beside the restaurant where you have breakfast. The price for the room, with breakfast is really good. The room was spotlessly clean. Everyone was really nice to us and overall we had a good time. We also ate dinner in the restaurant both nights...

A nice hotel B&B with a good restaurant located in the small hill top village Limeuil. The host lady, Veronique, is very nice, warm and helpful. We stayed three nights there and on the second day my wift got allergy (not because of anything of the hotel). Veronique was very kind to let us eat in our room and prepare...

Limeuil is a beautiful french town where two rivers meet, and you can walk there in 2 mins from this location. Rooms are fairly simple but nicely decorated and clean. We enjoyed the restaurant attached to the hotel and had a fantastic meal of dordogne food. Parking could be an issue in season as with it being an old town,...
