This was our first exposure to a Logis hotel. The town of Couches is in wonderful countryside and you really feel like you are immersed in the character of Burgundy. Room was fine but a little noisy. There had been a jazz festival on the outskirts of town and that resulted in later than usual activity. We had dinner at...

Let's start with the pros. Friendly owner and staff, evening meal was excellent ( portions tad small), wine choice extensive! Cons -- our bedroom up in the turret was a dangerous climb if you have a disability. Bedroom was small and very basic. The petite dejeuner is offered at 9 euros 50!!! Ridiculous price!! We went to local boulangerie bought our...

In Burgundy for a close friend's funeral near Chalon sur Saone in early January, we chose this Hotel about 20km away because it is Logis de France. Family run it did not disappoint. The service was personal and good. The self service breakfast was plentiful. The rooms were good for a two star hotel. The only problem we had was...

Just had 2 nights here and the hotel was really lovely. We had a very large family room, very clean, nice bathroom. Ideally located for the wine route, one problem was that it was so quiet in the area and not a lot to do. That said the hotel was great.

Nestling in a small village in Burgundy, this small hotel was very friendly and accommodated us with our labradoodle giving us ground floor room. The restaurant food was very good with helpful staff. Breakfast was plentiful and a good self service.

The rooms were charmingly presented but rather sparse, cleanliness was average at best. Items were rarely replaced in the bathroom (eg shower gel), rather too much dust etc. Food was OK - not restaurant quality, rather café/bistro. However the customer service is frankly diabolical and we will never return. We understand the owner is an older gentleman (pleasant enough) but...

We have now been to this hotel twice and have enjoyed both stays. The Burgundy area was where we fell in love with France many years ago and return regularly. This place was a wonderful find and we have found this is a very relaxing place for a holiday. We have had rooms in 2 different parts of this hotel,...

A shining example of a good French family-run hotel. Friendly and helpful welcome, nicely furnished, clean and airy rooms. Well appointed bright bathroom. The food in the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced as was their wine list. Breakfast was great and plentiful and the whole stay a joy. They also have 2 and 4 person studios with kitchen...
