We arrived very late but this was not a problem due to the friendly 24 hour reception. The first room we were given had no AC, it was on the ground floor with large windows opening onto the car park, so was completely impractical. Thankfully the guy on night duty, swiftly changed our room for one with AC, so other... More

Nice, modern hotel on outskirts of Chartres. Part of the Logis de France collective. On an industrial estate but pleasantly located. Friendly staff, plenty of parking, clean and nicely decorated. The Francis restaurant is very good, with excellent wines and a broad menu. Only quibbles were that the room was compact ( and our room 200 had a tiny window)... More

We arrived without a booking and we got a small clean room with a small bathroom. The room would be very hot in the summer as the traffic noise with the window open was noisy. It is situated on an industrial site so its not beautiful Average sleep in comfortable bed. But its all very clean We did not think... More

Dear customer, Thank you for having taken the time to write your comment on our hotel. We are truly sorry that you didn't fully enjoyed your stay. Booked this hotel on the strength that it used to be a Mercure Hotel, so the rooms would be a certain size and quality. Not disappointed on that front and the bathroom was also a decent size. Set on a large commercial estate it looks off putting but don't be. The restaurant looks pretty basic and contemporary like a Mercure... More

I slept here several times and I liked the hotel a lot. The rooms are simple but nice. The athmosphere is good and the staff is very friendly. During the week the most guests are here for business purposes. I was here for business purposes to, but when you need a hotel with family in the neigbourhood of Chartres I... More

It was getting late and we were having trouble finding an overnight stay around Chatres. Seeing the ubiquitous Buffalo Grill we knew there would be a motel somewhere closeby. Tucked behind said restaurant was L'Oree de Chatres. What a surprise. It is located in a not very inviting industrial estate but the motel itself is fairly new and is tired... More

On arriving we were shown to a rather pokey room which smelt damp. No coffee maker or minibar which we had expected. We questioned this at the reception and were given a new room which was excellent. Separate loo and bathroom and the comfiest bed I have ever slept in. The reception staff were extremely busy but always helpful.

This is a good value and good standard hotel. Rooms are better equipped than the really budget options, and beds are comfortable. Bathroom had a bath with shower over.
