Spent a night here last month. This place is wonderful. It's an old estate that's been thoroughly remodeled into a small hotel. W also had dinner here and it was our best meal in Spain. We tried to book another night but there were no vacancies. Easy drive to Santiago de Compostela along a narrow road.

Only 20 minutes maximum from the cathedral in Santiago, this is a perfect retreat for some rest and relaxation. Set in the hillside and miles from the nearest neighbour, you may feel on the drive down the windy wood laden road like you are joining a scene from The Shining, but on arrival you are greeted by the most welcoming...

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights at the start of October. Room was luxurious, immaculate and outstanding value for money. We had dinner 1 night where we ate scallops, pork cheek and chocolate fondant - all of which were outstanding. The hotel is located 13km from the city centre so a hire car is needed,...

A really isolated and tranquil place and the family who run it were so kind and supportive. It was hard to find, but it was worth it. Its at the end of a 4.5km lane surrounded by the forest and with wonderful views across the hills. The rooms were good, and in a old farmhouse they managed to have a...

Beautiful location and a spacious superior apartment. We loved our stay in the forest much more than our visit to Santiago. It was a welcome respite from the tawdriness of de Compostela. Highly recommended!

It’s a long road off the DP-701 out to the farmstead of Bachao, 13 kilometres from Santiago, but only 30 minutes from the airport and an excellent place to start or finish a vacation in Galicia. The Casa Grande do Bachao commands a view over the surrounding hills and has a river running through the grounds that can be used...

Wonderful location just 15/20 minutes from the centre of Santiago de Compostella in the centre of lovely countryside. Beautiful building with interesting furnishing and very individual rooms, the host is extremely personable, B&B was really surprisingly good value (we are real skinflints) but the evening meal was even better; without a doubt the best value/quality meal we had in the...
