We stayed at this Agriturismo having walked from Piacenza on the Via Francigena, the ancient pilgrim route from Canterbury to Rome. It is about a mile and a half outside Fiorenzuola. When we arrived, preparations were underway for a big festival - we had seen posters as we walked through the town - and the whole of the field to...

Remains excellent, accommodation, location, staff, price all first class. The restaurant is very good, not much choice but always good local home made food, you don't need a choice just take what they serve up you will not regret it. Great for kids lots of room to play and lots of animals to see

We stayed here last year and have revisited on our way south to Rome, the accommodation is excellent the owners and family are helpful. The town is handy by car and the wild life is interesting, particularly the very noisy peacock. We will be staying here again on our way back north at the end of June and as it...

There is a restaurant on site but it is closed Mondays and Tuesdays and the town seems very quiet on a Monday but there are restaurants open. Owners are very helpful and friendly. Children would;d probably love this...

If you want to experience the traditional Italy in a setting that is charming and quaint, I recommend this Agriturismo. The rooms are very nice with timber ceilings and tiled floors. The bathrooms are large and completely modern. What a charming place. This is a working farm and nothing is overstated but everything was clean and charming and excellent. The...

Just outside the town of Fiorenzuola d'Arda (not within walking distance, not for an evening meal at least) the Agriturismo Battibue is a charming bed and breakfast run by a friendly and welcoming mother and daughter team. Despite being in a bit of upheaval due to renovations and improvements, none of which were of the least disturbance to us, we...

We stayed for a night (on our way by car to Tuscany) in the Hotel. We chose it from the Internet based on the fact that it's close to the motorway (on the way from Switzerland down to Pisa). It is a family place, with a lot of animals, a football field etc. for kids. What we liked is the...
