I am an Englishman who has relocated to live in this beautiful region. I have been coming to cross-training and Strong Nation sessions at the Cabine Fitness in the Village Club in Agay for the past year or so. I am inspired to write this review because we (and the Club!) are just so lucky to have such a motivated and knowledgeable coach in Seb to lead these sessions. He is a real gem who has a gift for being able to explain in simple, understandable terms the science and technicalities of the various movements we practice - but beyond this he is just extremely welcoming to everyone attending his sessions, motivating us to perform to the very best of our ability. He is also working constantly to improve the fitness zone, and to add to his (already very impressive) array of machines and fitness tools.

I am now (almost) 60 years old. I participate enthusiastically in his sessions, and get so much out of it. Seb pushes us when necessary, as well as adapts the movements and skills to our own personal level. He welcomes all ages (from kids to borderline pensioners like me!) and all fitness and skill levels, and the ambiance he generates always makes the sessions fun, even when they are challenging (and they always are!). I truly believe that absolutely everyone can benefit from Seb’s classes - beginners, intermediate or advanced, young and old alike. If you are lucky enough to get a chance, I would highly recommend you get yourself down to the “Fitness Cabin” at the Village Club and experience Seb and his teaching first hand. I guarantee your body will thank you! Thank you Seb, and the Village Club, for keeping this Englishman fit and happy in Var.

Exceptionally clean and well-organised. Warm and professional personnel. There are options that we didn’t have the opportunity to try but we will be back next year. The way that it is built facing the sea makes it more pleasant.

What a charming and peaceful place in the heart of the Estérel, a short walk from the sea and the beautiful beaches of the holiday town of Agay, on the Corniche d'Or, with its restaurants, cafes and water activities.
A special mention for coach Seb and the "Fitness Zone" ... workouts of all types and for all ages, with a warm welcome and great team spirit and atmosphere.
Thank you so much!

We have just come back from a holiday here in Agay. The Village Club Les Mas de L'Esterel is very beautiful placed at the foot of the Esterel Massif. We had booked a flat for 8 people and in the booking it said we had a view of the landmark and in the photoes at Booking.com it showed a nice view from the big flats. When we arrived the reality was somehow different, look at photoes I have put by. Our view from both balconies was into a roof and a building. So very far from what we had been promised in our booking. The flat was a bit dark and had signs of being worn down a bit. Apart from that the surroundings af the site are very nice, nice pool area (remember your speedoes), areas for minigolf for free were good and the beach was excellent. What I can recommend is that you either pay for seaview if that is what you want, or that you specifically write in your booking that you what a view of the Massif (landmark) even though it says it in your booking. We had a nice week there but part of the holiday for us is to have a room with a view, so that sort of marked it down.

I booked a double bed room with a sea view and got a smelly room with 2 single beds and a view of trees, I asked if we could change and apparently everything was "impossible" all apartments were taken even though you could clearly see free apartments... We couldn't check in until 4pm and when we asked about check out they said 9am even though their website says 10am and because I am a geniuses member with booking.com I was allowed a late checkout of 2 hours later... They finally agreed to 10am but wouldn't give us late even though they had the agreement with booking.com the service was rude at reception and non helpful. The drinks and food was really bad and the pool was packed with kids ect... Also there was no aircon in the room and it was 35 degrees outside so had a hard time sleeping! Sorry but i would not recommend this place to anyone

We had chosen this hotel because it was described as family-friendly and we had hoped to spend a nice vacation with our three year old daughter there. However, we did not enjoy it as much as hoped and left early.

Positive aspects:
- Fabulous view of the bay and sea
- hotel property has beautiful green areas, many trees etc.

Negative aspects:
- Apartment and interior quite outdated
- Sparsely furnished (need to buy toilet paper, dish washer soap etc.)
- apartments are not soundproof, you can clearly hear the neighbours
- buffet with few options, not good and very loud
- children's playground outdated and little to offer
- children's indoor play room was not open (even though the description on booking.com clearly does not link the indoor play rooms to the french school vacations)

It is always with great pleasure that we will spend a short fortnight at Mas de L'Esterel. We always have a warm welcome. A super nice team of entertainers, an extraordinary Gégé, without forgetting Alexandra's lovely voice, and just as pleasant Sébastien and Mylaine, what a great team to make us spend very wonderful evenings. Nothing is left to chance, an excursion to the Nice carnival canceled, and our director, at short notice, organizes us an evening at the Cabaret d'Aix en Provence, a big thank you Mr. Director. The gala evenings offered to us are also superb. We always have excellent memories of it.
