We have stayed here several times and this remains as good as ever. They management here clearly make sure that high standards are maintained, with rooms spotlessly clean and pool area tidy and cleaned each day. The hotel is within walking distance to the villages of both Maussane and Paradou where there are many excellent restaurants with a choice from pizza restaurants to with reasonably priced fine dining experiences. The hotel itself has an excellent restaurant, Nancy Bourguignon, where we ate one evening. It is at the ‘fine dining’ end of the spectrum. The staff are helpful, especially the sommelier who helped us choose a good bottle of wine. The meal was well cooked and presented. As previously we can highly recommend this hotel.

We have been to this fabulous boutique hotel many times but not for a few years following Covid…
The hotel, pool and gardens are immaculately presented and these standards are only surpassed by the welcome and service from the Bourguignon family and their team - nothing is too much trouble..
The hotel is a quiet location, a short walk from the quintessential Provençal villages of Maussane les Alpilles and Paradou.
The copious breakfasts are nothing short of fabulous and at lunch and dinner, the restaurant serves carefully sourced premium ingredients cooked with serious talent.

Absolutely exceptional! Beautiful property, calm atmosphere, exceptional service and the most delicious breakfast we had!
It’s a family run business and they make you feel so comfortable and make sure you feel at home. Victor is such a pleasure to deal with! :)

The first thing to notice is on the inside page of the menu where Chef lists her suppliers. She uses only the best ingredients sourced from all over France. Amazing..!!

Her cuisine is simple yet elegant. Chef prepares traditional dishes with her own understated style and bold, but not overpowering flavours.

The service was perfect and the presentation and plating of each dish was
a feast for the eyes.

Highly recommend any dishes including local mushrooms. Exquisite..!! The chicken and sole dishes were remarkable. The desserts were delicious works of art.

This Chef stays true to her Provençal roots... her food is honest and a wonderful representation of the cuisine of the south of France.

The evening was a night to remember.

Merck..!!

This hotel has a wildly exaggerated idea of its value.
Quoted 120€ as a "special deal" (down from 150!) I felt the room was very over-priced; small and nothing special to justify such a high amount. However, being exhausted after a long day's drive we took it anyway, but we'd have done better to have found somewhere else.
We were told we had internet but this simply didn't work. Not happy as we had business emails to attend to that were impossible to deal with.
We were up early the next day and eager to get out to enjoy the nearby countryside so grabbed a small bowl of cereal each and a couple of tomatoes from the breakfast layout - and were then charged 36 euros for the privilege. This again was explained to my wife as a special deal as it was "normally 21 euros each" ...
What a rip-off!
The staff were pleasant enough but this place should be avoided until they have a more reasonable and transparent pricing structure.
I would definitely not stay here again. It left a bad taste in our mouths and coloured our experience of France as a whole.

My family and I have stayed at the lovely du Cote des Olivades 3 times over the years. The Bourgignon family who own and run it offer a warm welcome. The food is always fresh and delicious. The location is great for exploring Provence. We highly recommend it!

Bistrobaby has patronized this hotel and restaurant for many years, so I am obviously a fan or I wouldn't continue to return. The hotel is in a picturesque setting, beautifully appointed and maintained. It is a boutique, family-run operation and the Bourguignon family have found the right formula to encourage their guests to relax and enjoy the stunning setting, which one can begin to enjoy from the sweep of olive trees along the drive to the perfectly manicured gardens and property. And, before Bistrobaby goes any further, she has to declare the spa, "Spa B" as one of the BEST spa experiences she has ever had.

The hotel staff are friendly and helpful and the family, André, Nancy and Vanessa make you feel like an honoured visitor.

And now to the restaurant, Nancy Bourguignon. Where do I begin? One of Chef Nancy's signature entrées is her scallop carpaccio, and that is a 'must'. But then, if she has some fresh cépes or girolles....chanterelles, well, one MUST indulge because she prepares them to perfection, with the right 'al dente' yet cooked texture and the most appetizing reduction sauce served in just the right quantity. And, if you are lucky enough to be there when Chef has some foie gras, or fresh truffles - BLISS!!! She has spoiled Bistrobaby for foie gras anywhere else.

Then, what to have for one's 'plat'? Bistro baby is very partial to seafood, and Chef Nancy does the best sole in Provence, but she has recently developed a lovely chicken in tarragon and her lamb is out of this world. I have seen some stunning plates delivered from this kitchen, and even the children are carefully considered, with a menu d'enfants that makes grownups envious.

And for lunch, the clubhouse sandwich is such a brilliant construction of ripe and juicy tomatoes, local pork and chicken on baguette with lashings of fresh mayonnaise that one can't imagine returning to regular life and ordering a north american version of this sandwich, no matter how hungry one feels.

Now it must be declared that Bistrobaby has her own favourite table in this restaurant, and she is not going to share it, but I CAN tell you that the terrace is one of the most pleasing places to take meal in Provence, and in the unlikely event the weather forces you indoors, the dining room is lovely. The Bourguignon family has taken some trouble to get the décor and atmosphere right, with a nice, fresh ambience that takes nothing away from the natural surroundings.

Chef Nancy Bourguignon is an innovator and one of those chefs who constantly pushes herself, thus raising the bar for her competitors. She takes enormous pride in her restaurant, as do M. André and their daughter Vanessa. All products and ingredients are sourced locally and they are diligent about maintaining the quality of their suppliers, and one finds this really comes through in the cooking and in the presentation, which is simple and allows the food to speak for itself.

Eat here!!! You will thank me.

definitely one of the better hotels in the greater aerea of arles. but check the room before you accept the one given to you. there is one without window, but with a glass door. when you want to sleep with an open "window" you need to keep the door open. one other room was very small. in the room above the reception you will hear every sound from the recption and from the dining room. so not every room is worth the price.
WIFI is at times very shaky and with weak signal.
really positive is: friendly service. clean. modern.
good breakfast buffet. very quiet.

We visited this hotel last summer (2013). Our GPS got a little lost but there were signs that took us to the hotel entrance. Beautiful property and great location to visit nearby towns in Provence. Our room was huge and very modern. The food in the restaurant was delicious, with fresh ingredients. The restaurant closes early at night. The area is very dark at night although we felt safe at all times. The staff was very nice. The spa looked nice but we didn't use their services.

Les Olivades certainly has a beautiful setting with view over the Alpilles and close to the main "places to see". We were given a small but comfortable room, with a nice private terrace. Piscine is truly magnificent in its modernity.

We are extremely frequent travelers, but we have to say that the restaurant prices for dinner and breakfast are somewhat ridiculous (and we live in Geneva, so are used to high price levels as such). I can easily recommend several Michelin star restaurants in the area with a better value for money. The relatively minimalistic food presentation is a matter of preference, so will not take this into account. Would recommend the hotel if you like modern style class, the restaurant only for folks without any budget constraints.
