Lovely stay but not told the last week of the season meant everything was closed on-site. very inconvenient, especially with the shop being closed and the closest being a couple of miles away. I think you should inform people that this is the case in the last week.

Response from Grégory LECOUTRE, Directeur général at Camping Marvilla Parks - Le Napoléon
Responded 5 Oct 2023
Dear Nick, Thank you so much for your review. September gives way to a slower pace and not all services are necessarily open. As indicated on our website, certain activities and entertainments are only available on certain dates. We are delighted to read that you spent a lovely stay in Vias and look forward to seeing you on future holidays. Kind regards, The Team Napoléon

We had a great time in Club le Napoleon campsite..classed as small but that suited us fine with 2 small kids we didn't need anything extravagant. We had a 3 bed mobile home towards the back of the site which was spotless and had everything we needed. We were met by the lovely Eurocamps Michelle. Park well kept and good lay out, children's club we'll run and pools perfect, big pool, kids pool and a shallower pool with hydro jets and slides are in separate area. Onsite bar/restaurant was lovely, with good food and drinks on offer, most places in the main strip offered takeaways too. No major complaints however my one gripe had to be public transport. There is literally nothing, the local bus service only started in our 2nd week of the holiday and just ran to the main closest town Vias so if like us and you don't have a car it could pose problems as you will be stuck using the more expensive supermarkets near the campsite and also to note the nearest pharmacy is also in Vias town about 20 mins away in the bus and maybe 45.mins if you want to walk in 35c!! I'm sure all this would be fine if we had a car , also can get quite noisy at night but didn't really bother us. Overall a great holiday in a smaller campsite but tops marks to staff and campsite facilities.

A stay that went well, without major problems. The front desk team was really good and professional. The Mobil home XL was very clean with a large shower and a very nice 160 bed. The campsite is clean, close to all amenities (food shop, bar, restaurant, nightclub, Attraction park, horse riding center,...) and a remarkable proximity to the beach. You can do without the car during your stay if you wish. The entertainment team was well present with the holidaymakers and did not hesitate to wet the jersey in every sense of the word!
I would have liked to find a few more games out of the water at aperitifs for example. A musical evening with DJ would also have been appreciated to bring together more young people (who desert lotto or karaoke nights) and older ones....
In any case, it is a campsite on a human scale which, despite its location in the commercial artery, is very quiet, clean and secure.

+1
Very nice complex near the beach.
The complex is small and manageable. We are 2 adults and a dog.
The complex has dog poop bags for the first time, which we thought was very good. The pool area is a bit small, but very pleasant.
The shopping promenade is right at the entrance, with lots of shops. Since we were there last week in September, many were already closed. But it is still very nice to walk there.
The beach is very nice, fine sand and very clean, very gently sloping, you can walk very far into the sea with clean water.
We had booked the Premium Exclusive mobile home. These are in a separate area with no car traffic. Large mobile home with a large terrace and lots of seating. Kitchen well equipped with gas burner and dishwasher. Air conditioning, 3 bedrooms for 6 people, toilet and very large shower. The Premium Exclusive includes final cleaning, WiFi and bed linen/towels. LunaPark nearby.
Lots for children, but also teenagers, there was even a beach party with fireworks.
We liked it so much that we will definitely come back.

The staff is caring, welcoming and professional; even in the off season they plan activities for everyone! The layout is exotic with magnificent plants and shrubs, the streets are paved so the level of cleanliness is top notch! The swimming pool is heated, the bungalows (classic 3 bedroom chalet) are spacious, the bedding is comfortable. The campsite is ideally located in the “pedestrian tourist” middle of the street, 5 minutes from the beach. In short, nothing to complain about!! Thank you for this stay 😊

On vacation with 2 teenagers, the Napoléon campsite seemed perfectly suited to us with its 13/17 year olds club and we did not regret our choice! The facilitators are adorable, the activity schedule is well-stocked! The slides in the aquatic area are not exceptional compared to other 5* campsites but the swimming pool is very nice and the sports fields are really great!
The campsite overlooks the street of shops, restaurants, etc. which leads to the beach. The only downside is the high price (even for a basic mobile home) which didn't allow us to stay more than a week... I think we can spend 2 weeks without getting bored for a second! We really recommend it and we will be happy to come back.

Quiet campsite, clean, nice location close to the beach. Only downside the nightclub we can hear on weekends. The campsite is very clean and secure, heated swimming pool, tennis and pétanque court, snack nearby and just outside the campsite direct access to the page and commerce.

Excellent campsite, ideally located.
We were quiet, the children were able to enjoy the games and walk around the campsite peacefully.
The shops and the sea are a 2-minute walk away, the grocery store on the campsite is very practical
We had an excellent stay, we did everything on foot, no need to take the car again
The welcome was quick and the staff were very friendly.
The accommodation is clean and the bedding is correct
The swimming pool deserves to be heated a little more so that we can enjoy it but when the good weather is not there

Good campsite, human size, quiet, clean, family friendly while being close to everything, sea, shops, restaurants, boutiques but no premises to bring teenagers together, few activities during the day and evening for them, only 3 paid outings are scheduled each week. Decent swimming pool with only two small slides. Simple, light (little) entertainment during the day. A little better in the evening.
The 5 star does not seem to us to be justified, perhaps only linked to its location.
Expensive campsite for the services.

Horrible.. very noisy and low standard, by no means 5 star!! Rentals near sports facilities so there are sounds of balls clicking from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on wooden boards... it's not possible to sit on the terrace and people come and go in our field to pick up the ball sent too hard! The campsite is poorly attended, there is not enough security, it is non-existent and very unpleasant. In short, there is nothing to do in this campsite, the swimming pool is not like in the photos and it is crowded with people. Very noisy and late entertainment and without much interest. It's so disappointing to spend a stay in vias in such an ugly campsite!!
