We were so lucky to find La Résidence Limousin to stay over Christmas 2018. Patti and Dave welcomed us like old friends and nothing was too much trouble for them. The décor of the house is just amazing: every bit of furniture and every ornament could bring an interesting tale from Dave. Could not fault it on cleanliness and the shower in our room 'Chambre Josephine' was brilliant. And I've never seen so many extras in a bathroom: make-up cleanser pads, face cream, cotton wool buds...as well as the usual shower gel, shampoo, soap etc. A very comfortable big bed and, what I specially liked, a couple of settees. Tea and coffee making kit too. The bedroom overlooked the pretty little garden. No noise at all at night and the house was nice and warm. A strong wifi signal - essential these days. A generous selection at breakfast and for us, an excellent dinner on Christmas Day after a walk in the winter sunshine around the nearby lake with its outdoor exercise equipment.We'll have no hesitation at all in recommending this chambre d'hôte. stayed for just one night on route to Carcassone, back in June what a lovely old place fantastic garden, fantastic host, Patti and Dave were just great nothing was to much trouble, it was my sister-in-laws 70th birthday Patti very Kindly provided a cake, and dinner we all wished we were staying longer, bedrooms were very comfortable loved the bed and great bathroom super location right in the middle of town but very peaceful. hope to return. Breakfast was amazing

Unfortunately your travel agent booked Chambre Isabella directly on the booking.com website but in the “ wrong “ name. After several phone calls from your travel agent and booking.com this was finally resolved and the correct name confirmed. You were then very unhappy with your room, stating to me that “you were the boss” and your two junior colleagues had better rooms. Your colleague attempted several times to exchange rooms but you refused, I also offered to accept a last minute cancellation (and I was prepared to lose money on the room cancellation) but again you refused. You then phoned your travel agent to complain the room was mediocre. I really don’t see what else anyone could have done for you, however I can only suggest you take up your complaints with your travel agent, as they were in charge of the bookings on your behalf. Just returned home after a fantastic stay at the La Residence. David and Patti are super hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The house and gardens are beautiful and ideally situated within walking distance of all the bars and restaurants in the town. A word of caution don’t expect to leave here hungry, the breakfast is exceptional!! Thank you David and Patti I know we will return again soon.

We found this delightful bnb almost by accident and were so glad we did. We were warmly welcomed by Patti and David into this gorgeous 19thC house which is just beautiful. Loads of character and lovingly decorated, we felt like we stepped back in time (with a great modern bathroom!). Our room was huge with a lovely sitting are also. Quiet are and our hosts could not do enough to help us. We only stayed for one night but did not want to leave!!! Would highly recommend. Pam and Alan
