An excellent large room, with trendy open bath area, nicely furnished. Friendly staff with a great restaurant. Large beds, flat screen TV with parking across the street. Easy to walk to nearby restaurants and bars, as well as a great boulangerie!

We love the Beaujolais region. It's on our wine tour most years. Beautiful countryside and just far enough south that you start to get that lovely twinkly Mediterranean light quality. All of that and affordable wine as well (we find it helpful to have the car half full before we get to Burgundy or it can get a bit pricey!)...

My wife and I stayed here on a Tuesday in late October of 2016. We booked a superior room in this property with American Air points. It appears that the hotel may have rooms in various village buildings in the village.. We were placed around the corner in a spacious room with a lovely sitting area and a private outdoor...

The Hotel is 'smack-bang' in the middle of the vineyards. There are farmers selling wine all around, tastings too ! There is a lovely walking circuit, but we didn't have time enough to stay another night. We had the suite, since the twin room we booked was not ready. No extra charge ! It was getting cold at night already....

We had booked for 4 nights at Chez la Rose in an apartment - but after seeing it, cut that down to 3. Our arrival was all a bit rushed and fraught - not the kind of warmth and welcome which makes you feel immediately at home. We were taken to our apartment (42) which was spacious, but a few...

Dear Madam, We are so sorry that you were disappointed about your stay by us, especially on the different points our customers love. Before you arrived, I asked you what apartment you'd like because you asked first for the ground floor with patio then choose the first floor. I welcomed you personally and explain you different parts of the hotel,...

... but we were basically hoarded into a ground floor "suite" with a direct view onto a ... parked car surrounded by wild grass (i.e. windows at eye level onto an unkempt lot). Basic, Ikea style decoration with grainy beige wallpaper. We basically paid for space we did not need and did not get the charm we thought we were...

We had a spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms and a living room incl a bath with shower and bathtub. The hotel has a very tiny pool and a small breakfast room, very cosy. The breakfast is very...

As we had been travelling around France we booked this hotel on spec just a few hours before checking in. Julienas itself is a small village situated in an elevated position & surrounded by its own vineyards making it a stunning location. Chez La Rose is a pretty hotel with a gorgeous outdoor terrace for dining which is filled with...

The last time I visited Chez La Rose was quite a few years ago when the hotel was very quaint. Now modernised and with very good airconditioning I had a very comfortable stay. I think we were in room 34 which was huge with a separate small sitting room with individual air conditioning. The bathroom was large with a lovely...

We stayed in apt 41 which was very spacious and had everything we could wish for. We dined in the hotel and sat outside. The menu was French with added Asian flavours. We really enjoyed it. Not only was the evening meal great, the breakfast was equally good.the chef cooked simple scrambled eggs which were full of flavour. I would...
