Lovely family run hotel. Francesca and Benedicta were wonderful, friendly and helpful, as were all the staff. The location is amazing, right on the private beach with the use of sun beds and umbrellas included. There is a very spacious outdoor terrace to enjoy breakfast or a cocktail, while listening to the ocean. A very good continental breakfast is included. The train station is an easy 5 minute walk away and there is a grocery store across the road. Easy access by train to the Cinque Terre. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.

This hotel is perfectly situated on a beautiful beach and takes every advantage of it's great location. Have a drink on the outdoor deck overlooking the sea or lounge in the beach chairs that are only steps away from your room. Family run resort with an attentive staff that strives to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Short walk to the train station which takes you to Cinque Terre in 25 minutes.

Stayed there with family in July for a few nights and have to say: we were very satisfied!! Apartement very nice - short walk to the railway station (we went to see 5Terre ...) and just a bit more to the beach. In our rate also a space at the beach (l'ombrellone + beds) was included + doccia calda (!) and the restaurant is very convenient (you may want to "prenotare" if you want a special table over lunch time ... The hosts were very nice and helpful! Will I come again? Certamente, si!

Went to this hotel to visit Cinque Terre, a few miles ahead. The hotel is realy on the Beach, the staff very helpfull and the rooms rather large. As we like small hotels this is a real gem! Only downside is the small parking. We could recomend this place to combine Cinque Terre & beach holiday!

Me and my boyfriend visited this restaurant during our stay in Moneglia and the place is actually better than we remembered it from last year. The degustation menu they offer it's simply fabulous, service is good and the awners super friendly! I highly recommend this place to all the people who appreciate authentic italian food and romantic and relaxing atmosphere with million dollar view. This is probably the best sea food restaurant i've even been in:)

We ended our Italy road trip with Cinque Terre and chose this hotel because it was a beach front hotel and away from the crazy crowds. Breakfast was kind of bare minimum but the bedroom is great and clean.

Only four stations away from Monterosso you find this pearl on the beach. Excellent service, good food but unfortunally only to 3PM. You feel like you are on a resort. Free sunbeds. Free speedy WIFI. Free locked parking. Pleased I choosed this hotel to get away from the crowds and still close to CT. Lovely sunsets.

Less crowded and frantic than the cities of Cinque Terre just south of the city, Deiva Marina offers a jewel of a hotel to use as a base to explore Cinque Terre. Francesca, her husband, Vincenzo, and sister, Federica went out of their way to ensure a perfect visit. Antonella rules the distribution of food like a perfect Nonna (though she's far too young to be a grandmother -- it's just the succoring attitude and desire to make sure that you get exactly what will please your mouth and stomach that evoke a Nonna) in the breakfast buffet and at lunch on the patio overlooking the ocean. Lolita, the room attendant, noticed that I had hung my hand laundry in the bathroom and took the initiative to bring in a laundry stand and move the wash to the balcony to dry. The price was reasonable and the location ideal. Breakfast was continental and abundant; lunch was great. We left with wonderful memories of the staff's friendliness that evokes joy as I write this.

We stayed here for a few days as part of our 5 week trip across Europe and it truly was one of our absolute favorite stays. This is a family run business and we didn't have much interaction with the male members of the family (they all seemed to be very busy with getting the beach walks stored away, etc. as their season was ending), but I can tell you the ladies simply exude warmth and kindness. We felt they went out of their way to make sure we had a fabulous stay--and we did. We chose Deiva as a place to stay that wouldn't have the crowds that you will find in 5 Terre and we could not be more pleased with our choice. The hotel is directly on a lovely beach and very, very close to 5 Terre by train. If we ever (and I hope we do) get back to the Cinque Terre area, we won't even consider any other place. Thank you ladies for make our stay one of the most memorable stops of our entire vacation. Oh--and I must say the emus were part of the fun experience :).
