Part of a leger coach holidays dolomites trip, had a nice room with a spacious bathroom at the back of the hotel overlooking the river. Food rather disappointing, not at all Italian, no choice of menu, dinner is soup, meat main course (a vegetarian staying at the same time was not very well catered for at all), and a dessert, breakfast cold meats and cheese , and cereal, no fruit or yoghurts etc. And when the bread ran out a couple of mornings a request for more was met with a very curt "No" from the proprietor. Although we did not venture out independently several others did and found the bus service right by the hotel frequent and easy to use. The village too has a lovely bakery right opposite, and a well stocked grocers just across the road also.

We stayed three days at the end of January.

The hotel is a bit old fashioned but it's clean and confortable. The beds are a bit small. They use this typical german blanket which is folded on the bed. You cannot cover well with it (but I'm afraid you will find it in most hotels of the area -which is of german culture, not italian).

On the basement the hotel has sauna, hydromassage, solarium... It's excellent after skiing!

You can pick the bus that takes you to the ski resort. You can also drive to Kronplatz (10km) or, much better but a bit to far, especially with traffic, la Villa (30km)

Dinner: at breakfast you get a menu and you can choose what you want to eat for dinner (you get a soup and then you have to choose a starter and a main course between two different options -the options change everyday, of course). You also get a dessert. The quality of the dinner was good.
Breakfast is just ok. You have a buffet with lots of cold stuff but I missed hot dishes (there are only boiled eggs).

We paid 52 / person & night (spa, breakfast and dinner included)

We stopped here again, must be the fifth time, during our drive from the UK to the Italian Dolomites. The hotel is warm, welcoming, friendly with a good restaurant and warm comfortable rooms. We will probably use it every year

A classic example of a racist run family hotel where the winds of neglect are blowing strong. Avoid this place either if you have a non western ethnicity or a name that suggests this. For all other equality loving individuals with sound and human values this place won't be your cup of tea either.

The double room was very clean and spacious. The dinner at the hotel's restaurant was delicious with a delicious buffet of vegetables. Finally the waiters and the owner are very gentle. The hotel has a free bike park. A very goog balance between price anq quality.

Received a very nice room (232) with a view of the river. The room was very nicely cleaned and nice and warm after a day of skiing.
Food was tasty and varied.
Staff very friendly.
Only disadvantage is the 25 minutes away from the Kronplatz. But the ski bus does stop in front of the door.

Nice structure, clean and comfortable room but dinner, unlike breakfast, should be revisited. The dishes offered, pasta with gorgonzola and spaghetti with prawns and cherry tomatoes, are not very similar to the local products and also to the photographs proposed on the site.

Nice family-owned hotel with a good breakfast (not fried bacon) and the option of choosing an evening menu. Always very good!!
Clean everywhere, comfortable wide beds, large bathroom in the newer part and large balcony facing the river.
Minus: lots of traffic disruptions
if you have a room facing the main road.

Good cleaning, good room, nice balcony. Missing air conditioning, refrigerator and more hooks to hang on. More towel racks would also be needed.
Three-course menu every evening. Boring tasteless food. Dry meat, dry dishes without sauces. A housewife, hotelier, who is very unpleasant and checks everything, e.g. that you don't bring anything from breakfast. None of the employees smile or look happy. Won't be coming back here.

What can I say... for 5 years we have been returning for our holiday to this hotel which deserves 4 stars! Beautiful location with ample free parking, large, spotlessly clean rooms, river view, cycle path that passes under the hotel and close to the train station, ideal for traveling to San Candido. Free card for public transport included. It is possible to rent bikes, including electric ones, directly at the hotel. Opposite there is the info point, the pharmacy and an excellent bar, well-stocked pastry shop. Not far away is Lake Issengo and next to it one of the most beautiful and largest treetop routes for children and adults. Excellent and plentiful breakfast and dinner! The small spa is ideal for regenerating before dinner. The staff is very kind and prepared. Our thanks go to them and above all to the family and in particular to the tireless super Ulrich, always friendly, ready for every need. Thank you!!!
