beautiful modern interior, elegant rooms, delicious food and good spa. Nice hosts, proffesional staff - both in the restaurant and in the bar. Good choice of drinks. Nice location by the forest, 15 min drive from Kronplatz, which is a perfect mountain for both skiers and snowboarders. Love to return to Naturhotel Waldruhe

We had a wonderful time during our weeks' stay at the Waldruhe. The hotel itself is cozy and our room was comfortably sized for the four of us. Cleanliness met our expectations and so did the service staff. We were served on most occasions by Simon, Judith, Magdalena and Roman - all of whom did an exceptional job without being invasive at any time. Food both during breakfast and dinner was terrific, both in terms of choice and quality. Thumbs up to the chef and his team. If I may I have some suggestions on how to improve the guests' experience further. Bedding. Its not the most comfortable I have slept in. Elevator. Its old, slow and many times it fails to respond when its called. Unless we were carrying luggage we opted for the stairs rather than wait ages. Dinner times. Starts at 6pm. A bit early for us but I appreciate others prefer it that way. The thing is that if you sit at the table after 7.30pm the service gets very rushed. Parking. Only few parking places available. The rest have to park some 100m away. The biggest issue is not having a covered garage, which makes everything easier. Wifi. Generally ok but switched off occasionally. Kids play area needs a revamp and perhaps some natural light and better ventiation. All in all a very positive and enjoyable stay at the Waldruhe. We would definately want to return and recommend others to do so. …

I was there with my family. Rooms are quite good, claness is ok. The location are not awesome, because there are many private houses so close To The hotel And not a real town around There. Food is Good enough, kindly served. Many room and Communal areas have 190 cm doors so watch Your Head if you are Tall ! The staff is kindly But if You need an external Service nobody helps You. Pool is fine. Good ratio quality / Price, but i think i Will Not go back And stay.

The hotel seems to be way nicer and much more modern on the official pictures than it is in reality. Just a section of the hotel seems new (the one on the pictures) other parts feel like being back in the 90s. On top of that plenty of bus/coach tour retirees are flooding the hotel in the evening! Hotel is generallyok, but do not expect too much.

This hotel is very well equipped, the food is really good and the walks around very enjoyable. The place is very calm and the rooms have a nice view on the mountains, which makes this hotel a perfect place for people looking to relax. And Dolomites are not that far
