We arrived late after a long drive. The owner was waiting for us, and after cheking inn he help us around the area to visit good beer bars. The hotel has a good selection of beers and friendly staff. The breakfast was good and price was low. I am coming back next time im in this town

Watou itself it very charming and friendly. The Hotel sits on a square which has a few lovely little bars and restaurants around it. They all serve very good food and nice drinks. Hugo Claus composed this sentence - his silhouette and poems are shown on the hotel's door and in the rooms, on the cushions. Every year, my wife and I visit the annual poetry-cum-sculptures festival in the lovely village of Watou, situated a few hundred yards from the French-Belgian border.
