perhaps not the easiest place to find, a bit in the middle of nowhere, but that is what makes this place special. plenty of nature to discover in the neighborhood. and what a view you get in the bar and the restaurant !!!! The renovated rooms are rather small, and the bathroom even smaller. But everything is there. And you... More

We stayed three days at the Hostellerie Kemmelberg and spent a perfect week-end, combining hiking with history (the surroundings exude World War I). The Hostellerie combines tastefully furnished rooms with a homy atmosphere and pure gastronomy. The staff is very helpful and speaks different languages. Just perfect.

Hostellerie Kemmelberg certainly how to look after their guests, you are aware of their attention to detail throughout. The rooms are very comfortable, the bar and terrace lovely even on a chilly evening they hand out throws to keep you warm. The restaurant I cannot praise enough it is top notch, some may say a little formal but I love... More

So fortunate to enjoy a pleasant 3 night return visit to this delightful hotel with family. Decided to treat myself to an upgrade in one of their Delux rooms which offered more space and more windows than the Superior. Situated on the first floor, the room offered a view over the entrance looking out towards the woods. Had an impressive... More

Our party of nine plus two small children stayed overnight on way to Spa-Francorchamps. We were lucky to have a really warm and sunny day so spent time on the terrace enjoying a cool beer. Dinner on the terrace was excellent and much enjoyed by all. It was a Tuesday so we had the fantastic four course set menu. If... More

We thank you for your positive review. Our hotel can be found very easily: as long as the road goes upward, your are on the right track: we are on the top of a hill that can be seen from 15 kilometers away. ;-) Always welcome back. More

This was our second visit to the hotel and was just as good as last time. The hotel is located in a beautiful position located close to Ypres on a wooded hill top with fabulous views of the countryside below. Would recommend the larger rooms or suites which are very comfortable, spacious and well worth the extra. The staff are... More
