We stayed here for one night and arrived late because we got lost a bit. Luckily the owners of the house helped us by phone even though it was late. The house is located outside the village Laxe in a quiet region. The have several rooms and some apartments which you can rent. We stayed in a room which was complete with all the requirements. In the morning they prepared us a free buffet breakfast in a really nice and cozy room. We really hope to come back some time for a longer time.

We had a fantastic time at Casa Rural de Arrueiro - the bedroom and bathroom in fact, all facilities were first class. We particulary liked the breakfasts, available from 9.00am until 11.00am which for us was perfect. I cant remember the proprietors names, suffice to say they were very friendly and very helpful. Casa Rural de Arrueiro is also ideally suited to accessing the nearby fantastic beaches (Traba beach is worth going to), which in August 2016, were virtually empty....Overall, for a holiday in this part of Galicia I would thoroughly recommend staying at the Casa Rural de Arrueiro

Casa Arrueiro is a skillfully and tastefully renovated antique house, which feels authentic and yet not old. The hostess was very helpful and friendly, and assisted us with planning a route in the area - which is probably the most beautiful part of Costa de Morte. The bathroom is big and very comfortable, the room is fantastic, and the breakfast was very good. Overall, a phenomenal experience in the countryside which is highly recommended.

This is a real gem: a beautifully restored and tastefully decorated Galician house, completely built from granit stones! The rooms, the hospitality of the owners, the breakfast: EXCELLENT! (And reasonable prices!) I had booked the complete house (10 rooms altogether, including an apartment, a duplex and one accesible room) for 2/ 4 nights for international academic friends, celebrating my special birthday. ALL Of THEM were excited about the house and wanted to stay a week longer... Highly to recommend for people looking for an authentic "Galician" accommodation near to the Atlantic Ocean (beautiful beach at Soesto, only 3 km) off the beaten track and off "in-crowd"!

Sometimes when you are on a longer roadtrip you tend to loose the interest to the hotels. Well, during our Spanish roadtrip this little gem was an eye opener. We actually passed by with a car and called to owners to come give us a room. We couldn't have been more lucky. The house is beautifully restored and tastefully furnished. Our room (#1) came with a nice king size bed and big bathroom. Downstairs they have a large living room with couches, games, magazines etc. Everything was clean and beautiful, breakfast plentiful and service very friendly. If you are into surfing there is Soeste beach just a few kilometers away and Laxe town with restaurants, bars etc. closeby. Please be aware you need a car as the location is 'rural' as the name says.
