Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice hotel with beautiful surroundings. The bed was very good, but the pillows could be harder. The breakfast was disappointing; some cheese and meet on the same plate. Fruit was mixed in a ugly way. Better to ask exactly what people want for breakfast if the buffet is closed because of Corona. The service during breakfast could be much better too. One evening we heard a lot of noice and sound testing directly under our room, people were planning an outside movie night. I asked why??? We were there for our rest. Fortunately no one came for the movies, so they took it a way and didn't bother us anymore. With a little more effort this could be a fantastic place to stay.

My son and I stayed here as part of a big group and were made to feel very welcome. We were given one of the refurbished rooms which I understand are much better than the non refurbished ones, so better to ask for one of those. Our room was clean, modern, well-equipped and with a very nice bathroom, although being an eco-conscious hotel the shower was quite weak. The hotel employs a number of special needs employees who are all very efficient and ultra-friendly - a great initiative. Breakfast was excellent - good selection and swiftly replenished. The only disappointment was the wifi, which although free, was intermittent at best. Other than that we had a great 2 night stay and I would recommend this place to anyone travelling to the area.

The place is very clean and the room was quite cosy...but the two beds pushed together were of different sizes and so didn't actually fit together and were also uncomfortable. The room was small but functional with a decent sized bathroom. Be careful with the shower, it's great that the room was fitted out for people with disabilities but the water can go a bit everywhere. The level of English was practically non existent, which I find quite unacceptable in this day and age and considering this hotel is in a very touristic area. One lady in the restaurant spoke quite well but the younger receptionist's language skills left a lot to be desired.

Very good breakfast with a lot of variety: good quality bed, bedding & towels.

This establishment is overpriced(We paid 90 euros for one night) & more akin to a hostel than a hotel.

Our room (& they are all the same we were assured) is reminiscent of a hospital ward; stark white walls void of any aesthetic charm; the only ornamentation are the scuff marks on the walls.

Although we had booked 6 months in advance & the place practically empty,we were not offered a second floor room with a view to the lake: our view was of the unkempt hedge & grounds.

The dining room was laid out with military precision, brown tables without tablecloths all all in a row; the overall appearance unappealing.

The grounds are not tended to so you park your car in any manner which pleases which can be muddy underfoot.

The price/performance ratio is not right at all. The rooms are very small and poorly furnished. The parking situation also needs a lot of improvement. It is a complete mystery to me how the hotel gets such good reviews. It was disappointing for us. Not recommended.

A very quiet hotel. The service staff is always very friendly. Good (relatively hard) beds, clean bathrooms.
Generous breakfast.
Dinner (we had half board) was also good and plentiful, although not top-class cuisine.

The hotel is in a very beautiful location. The rooms are clean. No safe, no fridge in the room (see below). We were accommodated in the second building, which, with no wood paneling in the plain concrete, gave off the atmosphere of a dreary train platform. The friendliness of the reception unfortunately did not last until the day of departure: Because there was no fridge in the room, I had left a good bottle of wine in the fridge on the floor, and another guest enjoyed it. When I mentioned this when I left, I was told: We are not liable for items brought with you. Without a safe in the room, I would have been unlucky if someone had "borrowed" my watch....
I would have expected an apology!
The restaurant with its self-service shop - foot truck in the afternoon and service in the evening was irrelevant, the wines were rather poor. The service was always friendly.
The breakfast buffet was plentiful and good, but you had to set the table yourself and clear it away again, similar to youth hostels.
In summary, 185€ for a double room with breakfast is clearly too expensive given the 2-3 star level offered.
