This is a great hotel right by the French German border next to all the wineries and vineyards. Super friendly service and Thomas in particular helped with our limited German (as did Eileen). Great sized rooms and very modern bathrooms so no complaints there. Two things that would help though: Less patchy wifi- this cut out every few minutes which...

Can't fault the service, food or accommodation. Stayed here with family for the last four years and back there again beginning of next month. Set in a beautiful location with Freiburg, Heidelberg and Hambacher Schloss a must see. On and set on the Weinstraße, need i say more!

Three couples stayed there one or two nights to attend one of the wine festivals common in the area. We had the most expensive room of the three, number 302 at EUR 112 including breakfast. We were adequatly welcomed on a busy Saturday around 12.30 lunchtime and positively surprised that the room was already available. Ther is a small staircase...

I have regularly visited this hotel. The rooms at the front - with views across the vineyards - are spacious and well furnished, the rooms at the back with twin beds not so spacious. All are clean and modern with good bathrooms and good powerful showers. There are a some negatives. During the summer it the area can be very...

This review is for the restaurant only. During our stay in Germany we visited 3 times and each time the food was excellent and the service great. It was summer so we preferred to sit outside with a beautiful view. The selection of meals is large, several pages, from local dishes to pork, chicken, beef to deer and wild boar....

Must be better options than this round here. Reception service haughty. They had to change one of our rooms due to a fault and , despite us actually being in the hotel in one of their meeting rooms, failed to inform us, moved the personal belongings and also downgraded the room. When we asked why we were not informed, we...

Good selection of food and drink on the menu, however as it is on the German wine route it is very touristy and full of coach trips so quite noisy but the views across the Pfaltzland vineyards are stunning and the meal was delicious; boar and venison in pfefferlingen sauce. Would recommend if passing by.

This was our third stay in this hotel in 5 years. It is a small hotel in a small German town on Weinstrasse, only one kilometer from a beautiful French town of Wissumbourg. All around are wine fields and you can walk or cycle almost 15 kilometer staying in the wine plantations. The windows from the Schweigener Hof look out...

This hotel at the border of France and Germany is a good choice if you are looking for a good price/performance hotel in the Elzas/Pfalz region in this nice wine region. Rooms on the first floor are renovated and look smashing! Also the carpet is renovated and is silence reducing. Food choice is very wide (too much?) and the food...

This is a nice, inexpensive hotel just across the border from Wissembourg. We had a room in the front but, did not experience the road noise that another reviewer reported. The hotel was bright, clean and room size was adequate for our needs. The breakfast was typical for a German hotel, which means generous.
