Conveniently located in a quiet residential area. Walkable to supermarket, pharmacy, train station, and only 15 min. drive to MUC, 20-30 min. to BMW Museum and City Centre. One of the highlights is their buffet breakfast, note it ends at 10am on weekdays and 11am on Sat. & Sun. We had the one-bedroom apartment with a small balcony. Room is quiet with good AC, apartment size good for four ppl, cleanliness is acceptable, bed in bedroom is great, sofa bed in Livingroom is only ok and pillows are too thin; mini bar has fridge with free drinks (super like!), capsule coffee machine (didn't work), but no sink which is a bummer. Plenty of soap for shower and hand wash. The only complaint we have is the see through doors with glass in bedroom and toilet/shower washroom.

Convenient location close to train station, grocery stores, restaurants and a nice quite area. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Excellent Breakfast!! Offering American & German options. Everyone spoke in English. Staff offered great suggestions to nearby restaurants and places to visit including a nearby lake.

Nice spacious rooms, relatively close to the airport. Very friendly staff. Restaurant is incredible. Great, aged steaks. The food is incredibly delicious. Our waiter, George was amazing. Friendly, fun with great recommendations. Loved this place and highly recommend it!

Well deserves its recent high std reviews. A very professional check-in and departure process with English speaking and friendly staff. We paid extra for a Deluxe room which was modern and very comfortable; though I was surprised that it did not come with a room fridge. As I normally would have been travelling with medicines that require chilling I assume that reception could manage the temporary storage of these in future. The undercover free car parking was appreciated. The buffet breakfast included in our rate was exceptional. We also ate in on the Friday night in the separate restaurant, where the meals were pleasing; though the food delivery times were slow. They were busy. As the hotel is near to the airport, this is a good gateway accommodation choice for travellers.

If not for the Olymp Munich Hotel our last night in Germany could have been a disaster! We had driven from Prague 6 hours in the snow on Dec. 16, 2022 to catch our flight home to San Francisco from Munich because our flight from Prague to Munich had been canceled. We sat on our plane in Munich for 6 hours and then it too was canceled. There were "NO rooms at the inn" to compare it to the biblical story. Luckily my friend got on the internet and found Olymp Munich Hotel about 20 minutes taxi ride from the airport. We arrived (in the snow) about 8:00 p.m. and were thrilled to find this wonderful Bavarian gem nestled on a quiet street in Echings. We were greeted by the very friendly reception clerk and after checking in we only had to walk a few short steps to an intimate little bar off the lobby. Believe me, we needed a glass of wine at this point and the atmosphere at Olymp was simply charming. Shortly it was last call for dinner at the on site restaurant. Michael was our waiter and he was as much a gem as the hotel itself. Very kind, funny and spoke fluent English luckily for us. The food was hot and delicious. Exhausted, we found our way to our rooms and had a sound nights sleep. The room was clean and spacious and comfortable. It was nicely decorated and had toiletries and plenty of new, clean towels. In other words, the room wasn't old and dated. We had a nice breakfast in the great room the next morning (included in the price of the room). While we were waiting for our taxi, Gabriel at the front desk, charged my phone for me. My charger was in my suitcase somewhere at the airport. We made our flight on time and I made it home only one day late. However, at the hotel lobby, I had forgotten a beautiful felt hat I had purchased in my travels. I called Gabriel and he had in fact found it. Without me even asking he said, "I will mail it to you." A couple of days later I got an email from Ania with the tracking number for the shipment. Every time I wear that hat now I'm going to remember that wonderful, quaint hotel in Eching, Germany and the terrific staff who made a bad day end up pretty darn perfect. Hotel Olympic truly exceeded all expectations. They went over and above to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We were treated as if we were family. From the lovely rooms to the welcoming atmosphere of the bar and restaurant, they truly shine. George, especially made us feel so welcome and special! We highly recommend Hotel Olympic to anyone coming to the Munich area!

I visited and overnighted in Olymp for many years. Unfortunately in the last two nights, in both days there were poor conditions of the bathroom with important things missing and in the second day the room wasn’t clean at home. I’m not use to complain, but in this case I was feeling necessary to report this as long te customer. Two persons at the receptions could do nothing, but promise to speak with the manager. They booked then very quickly the full amount differently from what I understood. The manager asked to be called later to offer me some vague discount by the drinking next time and then a discount on the chamber in the future. But I don’t know when I will come back. In no way I felt that my complaints were understood. A simple, but concrete gesture now would have resolved the problem, but no. Disappointing. …

As a long term and regular guest for many years you are complaining on TripAdvisor in the hope to get a discount? What important things were missing? Every employee is empowered to take action in case a mistake happened and I am sure that we will find a solution to to this issue. Be ensured that the reception staff is well trained and can handle a complain about a dirty bathroom. Additionally they all worked at housekeeping and would have cleaned the bathroom within no time. Already more than 10 times we stayed at this hotel, we got a room in the ground floor apartments in the old wing, underwent renovation, looks great and very comfortable, exemplary level of cleanliness, breakfast at a very high standard.

We expect good hotel based on ratings, but it was even better. Sure, the hotel is older, but you have feeling of care and cleanliness. As of corona time, there were some restrictions and regulations and still, the stay was very convenient. Big surprise was especially the breakfast, they managed serving buffet restaurant and still be compliant with regulations. Great job all you do there in Olymp. Also location offers a lot of dining options of various kind.
