When planning our honeymoon, my fiancé and I dreamed of the rolling hills in the countryside of Italy and wow did Castelmuzio bring that dream to life! We loved stay in this tiny town and the views are amazing! Helpful staff and lovely dinner menu and very tasty!! Love love loved it!

I wanted to start our Tuscan holiday with something special, and the rooftop breakfast at Locanda di CasalMustia was a perfect choice. Yes, a bit pricey for breakfast, but the views of the surrounding countryside and rooftops of Castelmuzio were stunning, and the novelty of dining on a private terrace was a memorable experience. The staff at the Locanda are... More

The village Castelmuzio very nice , small , cozy . Also the accomodation is nice , the rooms a little bit small ( the bathroom very small ) . No tv in the rooms, Wi fii let's say ok but very poor phone signal ( we tried to pay with card and we couldn't ). Breakfast very basic and a... More

Room was rather small, but big enough to open two suitcases. Nice view from one window to the bell tower of the neighboring church (although you should be aware of the first chimes at 7:00 am). Reasonably priced, value-for-money. We only ordered pastries and coffee for breakfast and ate on the outdoor terrace. Pastries and coffee very good, total bill... More

I stayed two nights in this B&B in a small Tuscan hamlet called Castelmuzio. There is really not much going on in this hamlet and that's the beauty about it! The liveliest place is the B&B (and maybe the small local supermarket, if open). The rooms do not offer any particular luxury, the quite small adjacent bathroom neither. For the... More

We have had a number of meals in this wonderful place. We would have many more if we were able to spend more time in this very special hotel and restaurant. If you would like to sample an authentic Tuscan meal prepared and cooked by hand on the premises and served with superb personal service ,then this is the place... More

This boutique B&B and restaurant occupies prime spot in a beautiful, medieval, hill-top village. The village itself is quiet but atmospheric with stunning views across the Tuscan countryside. Although the town is quiet the excellent restaurant was packed in the evening as people travelled from far and wide. I would recommend the beef cooked in "too much pepper". After dinner,... More

This hotel is everything one would dream of when visiting tuscany. Simple but tastefully decorated. The staff are attentive and helpful without being overbearing. The location is close to all the best places in val d'orcia. One cannot not mention how great the food in the restaurant is. Great use of simple ingredients with rustic but querky presentation. If I... More

We were for 4 nights. The host was very nice and welcoming. We felt like home. The setting and atmosphere are amazing. We were pretty much the only ones there since it is not the tourist season and the weather was rather cold. The scenery and viewed are amazing, and it is close to the Orchia valley and to many...
